Should be done soon. It’s in rigging. I am in no hurry, just wanna make desert storm

Interesting news.

None of the previous 400 OB boats had a hydraulic adjustable jack plate.

Well they just told me that they will now add a hydraulic adjustable jack plate to my boat. That will really help with overall performance. That makes me very happy.

Very much looking forward to it

I heard that about the OB guys. I won’t lie, kinda looking forward to it

In all seriousness we were wondering why they didn’t run adjustable jack plates before?? Dunno??

There are pros and con's to both just like anything. 👍

I am really liking how the colors came out.

We went with black outboards to contrast the white boat. I think white OB would blend too much and would stick out too much. Instead we went with black contrast color which makes sense with the all blue transom.

We added a black stripe in the boat to blend the black OB. We will add a silver blue stripe to the cowl.

They selected black jack plate. We picked the silver hardware. Both blend well.

The lower on the OB is silver. That was a coincidence. Lol

Good choice on black engines. I personally only think white engines look good on boats that are all white or mostly white. Then they look great!

Great job! Did they give you a choice on jackplates? Do you know the setback? I would assume they have this setup pretty dialed?

Awesome work!

They gave me a choice. We discussed it at length.

I don't know much about them having never owned one. I don't know the details. They told me it would really help so I went with their advice. They highly recommended it.

As it was explained to me it helps both the overall performance but also the drive-ability, especially getting on plane. When they fix the motor in one place it is more of a compromise. With this setup the motor height can be optimal for different conditions. It will have three different positions preset, plane, cruise and top speed. (to make it easy on me)

I only screw things up when I put my 2 cents in anyway.......

Not me. They did a quick shakedown but that’s all.

I think they are planning to do a lake test this week.
Perfect, hope it’s absolutely dialed. You definitely deserve it.

The plan was to finish it this week and lake test it. Then EB will put it in the Desert Storm boat show.

I am planning to attend DS and pick up the boat after the street show. I will be on the lake Friday and Saturday. Hope to see everyone there for DS.

when I looked at your boat, it seems your steering wheel is a little thinner than most. Is that something you chose? I have no idea why that stuck out to me, but I kinda liked it.
