Saw a large group down south and they said out of respect. The search is still on north of the gorge and closes for the divers.

They were searching for one of the people that drowned up river so they went south.

I don’t have enough hulls… . It’s a little disappointing to be honest. Even Mikey could put together a photo shoot for the Hallett gig! A “get together” at Detail specialties, and a “get together” at PC.

Agree 100%, it’s not the same since business spiked and Shue left, for me it’s lost that family feeling.

@28Eliminator I guess I just didn’t unsterand your post.
I was thinkin it wasn’t much. But it’s my first one I’m going to so I’m keeping a positive outlook on that it’ll be fun. Seems like all manufacturers besides dcb are just building boats and not much else.

Agree 100%, it’s not the same since business spiked and Shue left, for me it’s lost that family feeling.

Agree 100% they have lost something very important to what Eliminator was. Sure they are building great boats still and some awesome things they are doing but its not the same and I guess thats life. Things evolve and change.

For me when we bought our 1990 Eliminator 207 21 footer in 2010 from a private party it was like I bought from Bob and Gary. They were as excited as I was. Had me come in gave me stickers and shirts. Found it in the old build picture albums to show me. Totally made me feel like I was part of the family. This was a 20 year old boat not some brand new 200k Daytona I just bought from them. GAry would periodically call or text to see how things were going. Still try to check on him from time to time.

I noticed the difference at the 50th. it was a great time and all but the family connection was gone. Dont get me strted on the towels

Bob, was like no one I had ever met, did not matter if you were buying or ust looking. He gave you his Time and 100% Attention. Those Owners and Times are Long Gone.

I haven’t been to an Eliminator regatta for maybe 10 years but I heard about THOSE TOWELS.

The wifee wanted to go this year.
