Saw a pic posted by photographer Ken Gallagher on FB of a green speedster nose high in the water. It’s since been deleted.
Accidents occur. A 33 ended up rolling last year.Wasn’t there problem at the last regatta
It’s a 28 I/O speedster, green with red and purple stripes. The new 31 green speedster with outboards
So unfortunate. Any idea of the causeIt’s a 28 I/O speedster, green with red and purple stripes.
No idea, judging by the photo I would say it was a standard sinking not crash related, it was close to shore and not all the way under. Hopefully nothing major. So unfortunate. Any idea of the cause
Hopefully they just forgot the plugs or something stupid. Flush out the motors and run it tomorrowNo idea, judging by the photo I would say it was a standard sinking not crash related, it was close to shore and not all the way under. Hopefully nothing major.
Do the newer ones come with automatic bilge’s? They some on a lot of production boats not sure why they don’t seem to come on a lot of performance boats.Hopefully they just forgot the plugs or something stupid. Flush out the motors and run it tomorrow
They should have them.Do the newer ones come with automatic bilge’s? They some on a lot of production boats not sure why they don’t seem to come on a lot of performance boats.
One of my biggest fears. I have a mental check list and this year worked with our son to recall it all. Can’t wait to get back to test him. Been also nice in the last 3 times I have not even sat in the drivers seat.Hopefully they just forgot the plugs or something stupid. Flush out the motors and run it tomorrow
Mine has a auto bilge. Maybe it couldn’t keep up? I don’t know what happened it was just wishful thinking. The owner has to be devastated if it’s the boat I’m thinking of that thing is beautiful.Do the newer ones come with automatic bilge’s? I saw one pic on FB and it was close to shore with the nose partially up, but not like totally sunk. To many boats blocking the view to tell what was happening, sure hope it was just partially filled and will be okay.Mine has a auto bilge. Maybe it couldn’t keep up? That’s why we’ve always mandated the largest highest volume bilge pumps we can find with large dumps in all our boats. And at least two of them in the engine bilge.Mine has a auto bilge. Maybe it couldn’t keep up? I don’t know what happened it was just wishful thinking. The owner has to be devastated if it’s the boat I’m thinking of that thing is beautiful.
LOL
Buddy of mine saw that one happen. Said it was an older daytona with green sparkle. He also said the guy was taken away for DUI. How he knows that? Just what my text said friday night.Hopefully it wasn’t involved in this

Saw that last night and was wondering if that was itView attachment 1157695
I had to do a double take. Its missing the red.
Not the same. Sponson tip (port side) in boat sinking had no black.Saw that last night and was wondering if that was it
Enema enducers. Actually aerators for the props. It’s a big drive thingA shame about losing a boat, always gut wrenching to see.
I know someone will say cup holders, but what is that?

The picture posted above was the boat sitting at the Springs earlier in the day.I heard they forgot to put the plugs in. Boat was back on the water yesterday at pirates for the regatta.
I saw that and immediately scrolled down to the comments and all I saw was having a great time, lots of nice boats etc....I'm thinking to myself am I the only one that see's that?

If it was taking off it was about to hit a few boats…Boat didn’t sink. It was just a weird picture as it was taking off. They was running it all day yesterday.
Just don’t be an idiot and put it on backwards.
