The wife and I where just talking about this the other day. Wondering if Rob owns alot of shares in MTV or something? And also trying to figure out why when we fall asleep or something and tv goes into sleep mode or what ever you want to call it(we have dish network) it defaults back to that station when you turn it back on..lol I will admit though, we do get sucked into watching it every once in awhile..

she was on Robs show fantasy factory as the receptionist. He also had his cousin on the show who started the clothing company young and reckless. He has made many millionaires and gets a piece of each Im sure. Prior to fantasy factory was Rob and BIg, he made BIG a millionaire. Unfortunately he died not long ago.
Robs original wealth is from DC shoes. As a pro skater who was good but not great, he signed a shoe deal. No cash, all royalties off the shoe design if he was allowed to design it. At the time it was unheard of. The shoes sold and sold and sold. He made a LOT of money.
Say what you will about the show but he is very smart at marketing. All the clothing and hats you see him wear, all pay him.
The show gets ratings, its not in most people age bracket on this site.
He is family guy, not a F up, has helped charities etc.
I actually like the show.....I laugh every time.

yup, its a great way to handle syndication, since they dont pay anyone but the hosts. Compare that to syndication of Friends or Seinfeld

Its pretty funny IMO. I usually get sucked into 3 or 4 episodes when I'm bored

Bottom line: This show is an awesome babysitter, my kids will watch it for hours straight. Winning.
