F-150 300K

Ok just wanted to see just how many of you guys are getting the same kinda reliability outa your trucks .2001 f-150 just turned 300k runs great no problems and i would have to say i beat the livin chit outa it .knock on wood this thing has never left me stranded or not started my 05 f-250 well thats another story !!! TUNNEL T

i have seen alot of 4.6,5.4 & 6.8 well over 200k none up to the 300k mark.They are great engines as long as the are maintained.

I've got a 351W with ~463k on it, never been touched.

2000 Chevy classic style C2500 crew cab, 260,000 still runs great and looks good.

actually not as good as i am with the other vehicles around here ,this is my work truck theres been times i just couldn't get to changing oil till a bout 7500 miles a few times ,but i run a good oil. it is a 4.6 and i do hear guys getting huge miles outa them ! TUNNEL T

big diffrence between a small truck and a full size half ton.


I'm a firm beleaver its how you drive them that maters the most.

i got a 1990 gmc 1500 long bed extra cab with 397,254 miles on it
still runs great.now that i only drive less than 3 miles to work i dont need to buy a new truck yet even though it would be nice

lol id bet money i put my truck through more abuse than the average pickup driver. It goes in snow, mud, offroading, tows, and has never left me stranded. You have a 4.6 I have a 4.7 so its not like it doesn't have the motor

And assuming the f150 had a tow package im within 500lbs of your tow rating lol

99, F150... 265,000 miles, original motor and trans. Mobil One and Wix filters from the first oil change. I have kept up on all the fluid changes since it was new and I use the Lucas injector cleaner / top cylinder lube also every four or five tank fulls of gas. It still runs great.
