I currently have Falken AT3W and really have been super happy with them. I see Nitto Ridge Grapplers look comparable. Anyone have experience with both and which one would you choose and why.

I'm just wondering if the grass maybe greener. Thanks in advance

Not really apples to apples. Falken AT3 is an all terrain. Ridge Grappler is a hybrid.

I have run both on different trucks and suv's. The Ridge Grappler is a better overall tire. I think the only place the AT3's performed better was in the snow. Other than that Ridge Grapplers outperform them. Also made in the USA.

I had multiple sets of ATW3s. The Nitto Terra Grappler (which is a comparable tire) is better in every way, except I like the looks of the Falken a little better.

The Nittos last longer, ride better, and are quieter. The Falkens got loud and rode rougher past 2/3 of their life.

That said I don't dislike the Falkens, I just like the Nittos more.

I have 37 Ridge Grapplers on my GMC and love them. Super quiet.

I should have added that. They are very quiet. I rotate every 5-7k still quiet.

The only reason I'm looking elsewhere is tread life. The Falken seem to have worn fast. But they're on my Diesel what doesn't wear fast on a diesel.

I believe the Nittos will give you longer tread life.

I ran the AT3s on a '16 Ram 1500 in a 35 12.50 17. They were good tires on that rig, great in the snow. I liked them.

Now I'm running the Ridge Grapplers on my '19 2500 Cummins in a 35 12.50 20. So far 36k miles on them and I think I'll run them until this fall and replace. Probably get 45k out of them. Love the Ridge Grapplers, and they are 12 ply. Discovered 70psi front, 65psi rear gives even wear on this truck with a 10" rim. They are pricey though.

I'm on my second set of the Falkens. Very pleased. Apparently they are from Thailand? No experience with Nittos.

Ive had most brands and I love the Falkens. @RVRKID told me to give them a shot and I'm a big fan.

I had 37” ridge grapplers on my Raptor. They were quiet, but had a hell of a time keeping them balanced. Never rode very good. Wore out at 32,000. I just replaced them with Coopers. EXTREMELY happy.

Have tried Nitto's multiple times and never had good luck. Switched to Cooper Discoverer AT3XLT about 3 months ago and so far they've been great. They were great in the snow and ice, looking forward to see how they last.
No exp with the Falkens.

I’m on my second set of falkens. So far so good not to mention they are way cheaper than Nitto’s or my favorite Toyo.

Why buy Nitto when you can buy Toyo’s? Prices are usually similar.

The Ridge Grappler is a great tire. We've sold quite a few sets and haven't had any complaints. A few of my customers have gone through the Toyo's and then switch over to the Ridge Grapplers and prefer the RG over the Toyo RT. Being in Southern California, we don't have a lot of "snow performance" first hand data, but it seems the Falken is the best in the All Terrain category. The Ridge Grappler is going to be more money than the Falken, but it is in a slightly different category compared to the Falken.
