My youngest had lots of physical therapy when he was about that age. Big enough he was difficult to carry, but couldn't walk much...
Very cool to read, but yes, must be some dust in the air.

I did a little time working for HomeDepot, after retirement. At that time the company was based heavily on customer service...the customer was always right...per the founder. The original HomeDepot location was a tire store. A customer from that tire store brought his tires in and wanted his money back. HomeDepot founder refunded the money. Not sure about now...but every HomeDepot employee breakroom entrance had a tire mounted over the door as a reminder when I was working there. Back in the day, JCPenney's also took in refunds even if they did not sell the item. I sure things have changed by now, as people take advantage.

I don’t get the refunds for something that wasn’t purchased from the company.. I will say I think home depot is an excellent company both to work for and customer service!

My son didn’t walk until he was 5. He needed the aid of a walker to assist him. I’m fortunate in the fact I could afford a custom made child’s walker ($3500) and he was walking within a few months after getting it. Tears flowed from this grown ass man.

I can certainly understand the absolute elation this family likely felt. That walker I purchased will forever be one of the most inspirational life changing moments as a father to a special needs child.

I donated it to another family with less fortunate means through the local county case workers. I’m sure it brought as much, if not more inspiration, to that family and hopefully they paid it forward as well.

Very cool story that hits very close to home. Thank You for sharing.

How the F can anyone look at the glee in that little guy’s eyes and think about F’n lawsuits. May be time to see, if you are a part of the problem . . . or the solution!

This hits closer to home, than most of you will ever realize. A couple here could take a guess and maybe land close. Good Stuff! Thanks for posting.

Cool story. But being the negative nancy. I can see the parents suing if something went wrong. Just the world we live in.
Some risks are worth taking, some are not. The OC giveaway car was always "incomplete"...plug wires, cap and rotor in the trunk. Had to tow it, for liability.
When it's to help people in real need, I don't know if I've ever worried about the risks...so far, no law suits.
