June 2018 I picked up this ‘87 classic 20 which had been garage kept near lake arrowhead for the prior 10 years and not ran. Supposedly it was the last classic 20 made for bob Campbell himself, then a second owner had it a short time, then the guy I bought it from since ‘98. Early on it was named “some $”. It has a Ford 427 side oiler, updated interior and was overall really clean. A few days on the river revealed various issues, addressed them but milky oil meant major down time. Luckily friends in Parker, Mike and Jody were able to assist and ultimately got the motor to JD machine in LHC where they worked magic and refreshed the motor. Finally got it back in the water mid October and it ran great.
