I am so confused, need real world RDPadvice.
I have a small 4x4RV set up.

I've been looking at class A
The one I'm looking 45ft., has a tag axle C12cat
The other
Same manufacturer, 40ft. same interior layout,
Single axle C13cat

Same cost

I see 5 feet and extra tires, that's it, is the something I'm missing? Is the ride more stable w 2 axles?

Thanks for the help and advice with these choices fellow RDPers!

Stability in wind, normally more tongue weight and towing capacity with the tag. Bigger trans and more torque in the 45

I don’t believe OP is asking about the benefits of a tag axle...he’s asking why the larger Moho with a tag is the same price as a shorter imho without the tag axle.

He actually asked specifically if ride was more stable with two axles 😉
