How did the turn out on the flat top? We eat alot of these and grill them on the normal BBQ, they are good but sometimes tend to loose some flavor on the grill.

good. A good part of Asian meats like bulgogi, Korean bbq, teriyaki etc is carmelizing the sugars in the marinade which is easy to do with a 800* grill.

For me...they come out good. I kinda like them on the griddle...seems like they dont dry out. I like them on the flame of the grill...but you gotta babysit them a lil more. Loves me some short ribs.

Any good deals out there on one of these now? My son has requested one for Xmas.
Not sure on the price yet... this 28" with air fryer will be out in 2021.
I'll be picking this up as soon as it's out!

Thought I’d re-hash this thread.

I got a Blackstone 36 for Christmas. It’s still sitting in the box. I’m debating on returning it and ordering the camp chef 600.

So far the biggest complaint I’ve read about the Blackstone is the grease trap. There are aftermarket traps you can get for the Blackstone that are supposed to better. I’m curious if any of you have tried one and if so, what’s your experience been like?

I hate to be the guy that returns his Christmas shit but I’d also hate to go through the effort of putting this thing together and regretting the decision to not exchange it for the Camp Chef.

I’ve had zero issues with my 36 blackstone, been cooking on it daily. Mine has the trap in the rear, and I use the foil insert which is disposable. I was reading some people complaining about grease running down the leg, then realized their model had a corner grease trap - looks like an early model or different model 36?

If yours has the trap mounted in the rear at the center you won’t have issues.

We picked up the 22" Blackstone that was on sale at Wal mart a couple months ago for $99. Used it this morning for the 1st time and the grill warped while using it. Anybody else experienced this?

So if I have a built in gas bbq, would it be possible to pull that out and put one of these in the same spot and hook to natural gas? We have a Traeger so gas bbq never gets used. This would be a much better cook too.
