Crazy. So the guy in the white truck is "security" for the ranch or an outfitter/guide trying to run guys off the public land?
We used to elk hunt just the other side of a fence line of a big cattle ranch. The elk would stay inside the fence because no one was messing with them, except for opening morning. The ranch family would host guides and clients during rifle season. We'd camp out and wait for daylight when the shooting started, the animals would go uphill and cross the fence. Bang! Fresh Elk for the freezer.
