I used to take the train from Irvine to San Diego all the time. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Im sure it may be a different crowd on the Needles stop though. LOL
The 1st and only train ride was from Santa Ana to S.D. Year's ago when they started. To many stops. The bar car was open and people were picking me up.

There was also a guy running a 210 as a commuter from some airport in the corona area to Havasu or Parker for like 75.00

it was called flight share.

his name is jason, i flew with him a bunch before i moved to havasu several years ago. at the time he came out every weekend and usually had a seat available. hes flying helicopters these days and hasnt been coming to havasu as much lately.

I would actually like to see the Kingman airport start commercial. Close enough to us in havasu and the runways, etc are already large enough. Don't know about terminal space. I am not a pilot, but have been told the heat in havasu/bullhead can create lift problems. Kingman is higher altitude so lower temps

I am sure most of those stories start with this guy came on the train reeking of weed/alcohol.
LOL no. I think maybe they have a special car for them.

Honestly I hope they don’t bring that to Havasu. As convenient as it would be it’s nice not hearing jets take off and fly over head all the time. It’s one of the main things I notice when I go back to California or large cities
Tru Dat Dave.... I'm just off the flight path from John Wayne and have really enjoyed all the reduced noise these past many weeks.

If commercial came to havasu it would be like mammoth. 2-3 turbo props a day max. No way havasu could support multiple jets a day.

All we need is for River Dave to buy a 10 passenger Cessna Grand Caravan EX. LA to Havasu in a hour. $150 each way and you get a free Coors light with a RDP koozie. #RDPAIR
RD has college funds to fund. 😖

It’s a width issue not length. Don’t think you’ll ever see commercial service with a Boeing or Airbus, won’t make it past the risk assessment/management department.

If an airline ever started jet service to Havasu, it would be with a regional jet like a Embraer or Bombardier. The runway is plenty wide and long enough for a RJ.

If a DC-9 is able to access Perris, Havasu won't have any problems other than filling the seats.

Do you think they asked CRIT if it was ok? Lol

I'm surprised that the airport stayed open. No fuel or service while both ramp workers were quarantined for a week or so.
