So I tried T's Eats and Treats today and it was a letdown. The place is nice, people are nice, and good food presentation but I paid $14.50 for a medium-small size cheeseburger combo. The local place at home and more I can get a bacon cheeseburger combo on a medium-large bun for $12.

We ordered a bunch of takeout from Angelinas Italian last night and it was honestly the best food I have had in Havasu ever. Sausage and peppers [emoji108] veal saltibocca [emoji108] spinach lasagna [emoji108] the list goes on. I understand why they don’t serve pizza, they don’t need to.

I am shocked to hear this and am wondering if maybe you got a kids burger? Their burgers are pretty big?

Boat house might see some changes soon
From what im hearing 😀
We stayed at The Islander last week and their is more to the story, it seemed to be the talk of the park. I don't know all of the details but their seems to be something going on with the partners/ owners of the park.

That’s odd , because I sometimes can’t finish the burger it’s so much food …

We like Blue Chair, to me it's kind of a Hawaiian/Baja mixure menu. I've enjoyed each meal I've had there, drinks seem to be mixed at a fair value.

Blue chair has good food, bar type food with a tropics/florida/HI vibe to it. Prices are fair and drinks are good.
Won't do babaloos again, but I know others that rave about it
We go to Shogun a lot when in town..for being far from the ocean their sushi is decent and the happy hour solid
Haven't been to JC in years, El Paraiso is our place for Mexican food in havasu...their flaming margaritas are dangerous lol

Red Onion.. let me preface this by saying I’ve never had an amazing meal here. I think people like it because of the atmosphere.. good bloody Mary’s etc.

today I actually had a good meal!

The California Benny was delicious!

they must have got a new cook or

Now I’m gonna end this with the owner is a flaming liberal and so is some of the staff.. I choose to not goto this place because of it. Today I had a business meeting with someone and they chose the this place so I went.

They have literally the best omelets ever!! Might have to rethink the whole program if they are full blown libtard over there. Lots of choices in Havasu for great breakfasts!

-Blue chair is our go to for lunch/drinks. Great view and people watching. I usually do the burger, fish taco or shrimp taco. All good. They have a decent selection of draft beers, usually.
- I like Javalinas. Go to is the chili Relleno with Beef Machaca.

wont be going there ever again
We’d probably be shocked by how many of the servers in town supported that march. We were in Topock when a group came after participating in it. The waitresses all gathered around to say how bummed they were to miss it and told stories about how great it was. Pretty eye opening.

Agreed. I try not to vocalize much on politics in front of my server until after my food is served :)

I tried T’s Eats and Treats. Nice couple, food was good, sausage breakfast burrito and a machaca bb. Both were hot and fresh. Everyone has their own preferences but I would order there again. We’ll try the carne asada torta next.

The owner and a couple waitresses marched in the BLM shit that came to town.

I wouldn't eat there if it was free. He and his "downtown association" crock of shit carries a lot blame on downtown issues. I don't normally speak ill of people or businesses..but when it comes to him...Fuck that guy.

If ya don’t mind start another thread and put up the details.. having a shop in downtown, I’m not part of that association and don’t know anything about it.. or even the downtown issues to be honest?

I doubt its still in existence..It was a thing which attempted to levy fee's on the building owners to pay for a revitalization committee/district..if memory serves correctly he would have been in charge and taken a salary or something similar. This was at least what went around the owners...it was always kind of a smoke and mirrors feel IMO. It was 7 years ago so much of my memory of it died hundreds of beers ago. It fell apart due to opposition from my understanding... Our family sold out of its interests down there shortly after, but im sure I still have the info on my email somewhere. Not worth a thread...but its enough to add to the reasons I have a strong distaste for him.

Edit...found it. It was in 2014.

Section 18

He was the "President of the LHC downtown association" I guess...who knows if it really went anywhere...reminded me of street scape and that debacle that left the two rock spires and no sign as it was supposed to provide.

I recently complemented the owner of Juicy’s on their consistency. He told me that’s because he hires and holds on to cooks not chefs.

Juicy’s and La Vita Dolce are 2 consistently good Havasu locations.

Twice in one week - Red Onion..

At this point I feel like I’m voting for Biden after the fact.. Had a breakfast with a friend / Stacys client and this is where he picked.. I told him half way through about the politics of the place and he was 😳.

Either way this time I had the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato.. it was ok. I habe had worse and I have had better. The fries had a weird taste to them.. almost a little sour?

Everyone else got omelets and said they were amazing.

IHOP..

I have lived here 11 years.. I have been here three times and eaten twice.
Once probably 7-8 years ago? And it’s an IHOP…

came here before covid with the kids because they were curious and wanted to try it.. Ended up sitting at a table for 30 minutes and not even getting waters.. we had to eat at del taco because we were flat outta time and had some kid activity we had to get too.. that brings us today.

It’s an I hop.. Denny’s grade food along with shitty service.. the floors have trash under the tables and Ray Charles is the guy that cleans the place..

Aside from all that this is where the tourists that come to see the bridge eat. No doubt in my mind this is where the covid lives.. on the handles of the syrups Is my guess. The butter pecan syrup is the only +.

Chicken fajita omelette.. one of the better things here.

Kids pancakes.. weren’t that good she barely ate any

maybe in another 10’ish years we will try it again. I would rather support the liberal at the red onion if it came down to it.

Its not just LHC, eating out now is not worth it at most locations.

Service sucks, food is warm at best, the prices have jumped and some the portions have become smaller with the increased cost.

Had dinner in Pasadena on Sat and there is a 2% charge for covid expenses. Didn't it mind it at this location as the services and food was on point.

On the Red Onion politics aside, I've ate there twice, both times the same scenario. Cook puts freshly cooked breakfast on counter, couple minutes later waitress notices and goes and puts the toast down, 5 minutes later toast pops up, couple minutes later waitress notices and goes and butters toast and brings cold breakfast to table. Much better choices in town.
