So with anything there’s ups and downs

Azul Agave - on fucking point today. Everything is as good as it has ever been.

Kids are stoked and I’m fat and happy

Two thumbs up!

You ever thought about writing up and printing Daily/Weekly menus? I cannot remember seeing the different types of food that is apparently available just about everywhere. Just gotta know what to ask for.

Did Havasu ever get a good BBQ place?
There isn't one in town. That Rebel place is garbage.

BBQ isn't something easy to do on a commercial basis; it needs to be cooked, rested and eaten, it doesn't sit around well.

Unlike other foods especially Mexican it can be made in big slop buckets and sit around and re-heated for days and people will hog it down and swear it's good food. .

I have NEVER heard anything good about the Pollo Loco in Havasu. Back here in the OC, I go to one likely 3-4 times a year.... always good. I have no desire to try the LHC location with all the bad reviews I have heard.

Grew up in Downey. Chris & Pitts barbecue is still there on Lakewood Blvd. At one time there were 2 locations in Downey. Saw dust on the floor kind of place. Simple, basic and just plain good. Havasu could use a Chris & Pitts.

Yes, yes there are. They had a “speed trap” set up last weekend. They had at least 4 cars working in front of sun and sand. The lights were going all night.

If the kids are in school they get out at noon on Friday’s.. and just about every Friday you will find us at tavern 95 for lunch. If one of them gets student of the week or a bearitude then they all get the giant ice cream sundae.. or their new favorite shakes..

No shakes or ice cream this week but they get it more often than not.

If they have the clam chowder I highly recommend.. they add just enough bacon to make it 😍😍😍

I usually stick to the turkey grill, it’s the best thing they have and coupled with sweet potato fries. It’s worth the week wait each week.

Sierra got the chicken pesto and it smelled amazing although I didn’t eat it.

Summer and Daniel never stray off their slider and pizza programs.

Should be noted they have the best waitresses in town. Always friendly and on top of it no matter how busy they are.

Good tacos for sure.

Was at the cigar shop buying cigars on Monday, mid-day. The taco place (I think the name is Pinche Guerro) was closed. Not sure what’s up.

Not cheap.
I cant explain the food. Don't expect a chicos style taco.

Can't compare to a san diego joint. Because it's much different that what we have.

Maybe coastera, but that's full blown sit down.

Had a fantastic dinner at Hangar 24 last night. Their Carne Asada Nachos, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Mushroom Burger, Philly Cheesesteak, and beer battered corn dogs have gone down great the last few weeks.

Alright so I’ve been meaning to update this.. I’ll go through my phone and work backwards..

Pour House.. Still amazing burgers.. love the old school local vibe. Service is Gonna be “meh” but again it isn’t that kinda place.

Great burgers good soup.. haven’t had bad food here yet and it’s priced extremely competitively. You can bring the family here and not stress on the bill.. cold beers as well!

I highly recommend if you understand the term hole in the wall. If you are looking for nice place and good service please stay out of this place we don’t want your bitchen.

Kens Pizza.. also one of the last affordable lunch stops in Lake Havasu..

You can get in and out of this place for 12-13 bucks. Big slice and a drink.. I think if ya add a dollar you get a beer.

Anyhow they have a decent hot Italian and I’m in and out for 11-12 bucks? All the delis are over 20.00 now when you get a drink. Borns for example is 23 then they tag ya for the tip putting ya at 25.00.

Anyhow back to Ken’s Pizza here’s the pics.. highly recommends for pizza and an affordable lunch stop.

My hot Italian

The Wet Clam.. I gotta tell you guys I really wanted to like this place. The whole concept just seekers kinda cool.

The clam chowder was fishy and watery.. borderline gross.. that’s ok because the tiny ass container it came in meant you wouldn’t have to eat much of it.

I had the lobster ravioli with some crazy sauce they recommended.. I’m not kidding you I took one bite and was over it to a point I didn’t want to eat anything else..

Point in fact the only thing that was actually edible was Daniels fried shrimp. Everything was Fuckin terrible.

I’m not even sure how someone who owns this place can not eat their own food and wonder wtf?

Fire everyone / start over new recipes and new chefs.. I do like the style and ambience it’s just the food was crazy bad.. not one in our group ate their meals.

Humberto’s.. better tan Filibertos next door for lunch if you are going to decide between the two.

This particular day I did a pollo Assada burrito / wet. Guacamole and pico inside with the pollo..

Honestly it was decent. Not California taco shop quality but better tan most in this town that has “blah” Mexican food. I’d recommend.

I usually get a carne asada burrito and add sour cream to the guacamole and pico.. extra hot sauce and it’s not to shabby at all!

I do hate the fact that they try and tag you for a tip in the drive thru.. then If you don’t give them one they Try to hold the hot sauce ransom or give you attitude..

Anyhow Humberto’s is probably my pick for burrito shop in Havasu. I will note it is not open 24/7..

How so I recommended pour house / Ken’s and Humberto’s in the last ten minutes?

Wet Clam literally gets a 1/10 strongly do not recommend.

T’s Eats and Treats..

I love Jessie and Tino…. I love their food as well.. that said I think they completely are missing their mark on the menu.

They are capable of making the best carne asada burrito in town.. they just won’t do it. Capapble
Of some of the best Mexican in town, they won’t do it.

Drives me crazy.. lol.

Well they do have that carne asada torta thing I like.. their hamburgers are amazing..

but today we are talking about their crispy chicken sandwich!!

It is something simple but it is quality and delicious!!

Thst said this place is not the cheapest place in town.. quality / fresh ingredients are used each day so in my opinion it’s worth the money. It is frustrating that they are almost invariably out of whatever I was gonna order that day.. lol

The alternatives are always good though.

Had a T’s & Treats tri meat B’fast burrito recently. Nice people, for sure. It was good. Heck, all their food is good. It was a $$ record breaker for a LHC breakfast burrito, to go. Believe it was $13+. They use fresh ingredient’s and it is made on the grill right in front of you. No complaints. Price of everything is going up. Except, according to Brandon, the price of cranberries. WTF??!! Why wouldn’t they also go up with everything else? Those cranberry farmers must be taking it in the shorts!

I had the same experience their with cost. I overpaid for a cheeseburger. When I got it it was on the small side as well and was still hungry afterwards. They are friendly and it was good but just can't bring myself to return when they are charging what they're charging for the quantity.

And the owner lives 2 doors down ftom RD.
Oh super awesome. Maybe they can come for a late night garage session for business advice like the rest of the town does. No need for an uber after;)

I don’t eat out much. But if I’m splurging on a cheeseburger or chicken wrap…T’s is my go to. It’s quick, fresh and amazing every time. Good place to take clients in between showing houses as well.
