Funny I ran across this ,I own this boat now.I bought it from the guy that restored it back to original condition. It’s a bad ass riding, handling jet boat. Here’s a couple pics View attachment 1052480 View attachment 1052481 View attachment 1052482 View attachment 1052483 View attachment 1052484 View attachment 1052485 View attachment 1052486

It was actually pretty much perfect when the guy you bought it from purchased it. I think your guy put a few touches on it, but that boat was hardly ever used. A true time capsule boat. I think he did do the trailer though.

Beautiful boat, congrats. Love seeing this, it's one of mine, and it's very gratifying seeing it in such great shape.
I worked for Roger from '79 (I always thought it 1980 but found some old paperwork showing I started there the year before) until '85 with some weekend stuff now and then for a few years after. It was just Roger and me back then.

He'd love seeing this TR more than I do.

It is a reverse facing box for circle racing. Pretty common in the 70's & 80's. Not sure who made them, but George Striegle (Clay Smith Cams) had them on most of his boats and customer motors.

I'm interested, but confused. Is the Rogers still available and who's selling it with what engine, price, and location? Most of the posts in this thread are several years old. Thanks, Joe

Sorry guys! This one sold a long time ago without the engine. The engine may be sitting on a shelf at the moment, but I would have to check. This boat was really clean. I was sad to see it sell without the turbo setup.

Don't worry though, I'm seeing some softening on boats and more inventory hitting the market than I have seen in a while. Keep looking and nab those great boats!
