Okay Ford 6.0 guys, got a question,
2005 Ford Excursion, 6.0, 175k trouble free miles, and I have an oil leak that is dripping down the back of the passenger rear oil pan area. Checked the valley and it looks perfectly dry. No oil on top of the starter, can't see any leaks coming down from the side of the block from driver or passenger side of the vehicle. I have read all of the stories about the CAC tube, bed plate, injectors, etc., but it does not seem to be coming from any of those areas. Did the 6.0 have an issue with a leaking oil pan gasket? Just for shits and giggles I you-tubed Diesel Tech Ron and he shows how to replace the oil pan gaskets.....quite the job. Just wondering if anyone had any other ideas?
