That’s about as gay as Fords from the 70’s

We owned it for 15 years and the last 3 years I just wasn’t driving it much at all. The first 10 years saw a lot of So Cal GT owners getting together for 250-300 mile drives and even some overnight trips. A lot of great driving, track days and camaraderie. But then the activities faded as guys sold them off. Life goes through seasons and I determined our season with the GT was complete.

it’s crazy the guys that spent the what $140k for the gt’s and now they’re 3x the price. What a great investment. Almost as good as a magic deck boat.

An 06 was 149,995. The four options ran that up 13,250. Consisting of McIntosh stereo 4k, BBS Wheels 3.5k, Stripes 5k and painted calipers 750 bucks.

The Heritage paint was about 13.5k if i remember correctly and there were 343 of the Heritage paint jobs.

They only made a little over 4,000 in total and several hundred have been wadded up due to their lack of any electronic aides other than ABS.

The Heritage editions get quite a premium over the other colors. Although the garage queens are more expensive, there are a bunch with thousands of miles on them and they sell in the 200's. I know of one in Arizona with over 80k miles on it. A higher percentage of Heritage's are garage queens than other colors.

If you want a good car to drive you can get one in the 250 - 300 range. If you want a collector piece, prices have definitely climbed.
