last year at DS these two little local kids were diving down and pulling them up along the wall just north of the ferry . There's a lot down there!

My son and I dove the docks at Moonridge all the time. It blows me away people are there their whole life don’t know what’s under the surface, including the trash.

I’d say 1 in 4 rocks over turned in the river had one under it. Now if the mussels get up to size, Parker could be the new seafood destination.

Stripper, zebra mussel, crawdad étouffée.

You can catch as many as you want, but DO NOT transport them live, away from where you caught them. They aren't native to AZ and are considered invasive species. They were introduced decades ago when fishermen brought them to use as live bait for bass.

Make sure you have a fishing license. AZGFD WILL cite you for catching or taking them (or anything else) without a license.

*They're also really good in keeping your fresh water fish tank clean. As long as they're not so big that they can eat the fishies.*
