UPDATE - Found something to foot the bill.

Looking to pick up a commuter. Have a budget of $5-6K and would like to purchase locally in the So Cal area if possible.

Prefer a white Honda, Toyota/Lexus, Acura, etc. but will entertain other manufactures.

Cash in hand ready to buy, I appreciate any leads outside of what is on CL/Offer Up

Coworker of mine is selling their 2008 Mercedes E350 with AMG Suspension Package. 106k miles, asking $8,000 or best offer. Black on black.

I saw your ad and was going to contact you considering I had a xB back in the late 2000's as a commuter. They are surprisingly spacious but at that mileage I'm concerned with things starting to fall apart.

I had a BMW for 6 months and did one oil change and sold it. I'm not a huge fan of those maintenance/repair bills. I will pass it along to my mechanic and get his thoughts but with higher service costs and insurance I'm not sure I want to take the leap into another luxury car. Do you think the price is firm or willing to negotiate? It is outside of my budget so I'd have to haggle a bit.

He's got a little room on the price. I can send you his number via PM if you're interested.

Not to highjack the thread but if anyone has a cheap Smart car they want to unload I'd be interested.

That is the kind of program I'm looking to get into. Not interested in racking up a ton of miles on my new 2500. Where did you find it?

You always find the best shit. Although I don't think anything will beat Nick's Baker.

Instead of buying someone else's headaches, take the 6500 and put it down on a new Honda Civic and finance the rest, that'd be what, a couple hundred a month? Or lease it and purchase it at the end, sell it and do it all over again. New car every 3 years at half the cost and everything is covered with a warranty.

I ended up picking up a Caddy from my buddy that had it as a spare car. Got a smoking deal and I will probably list it for sale once my wife can decide on what new ride she wants and her current Honda CR-V will become our commuter back up.

Thanks to all for the help.

You picked up the ultimate grandpa cruiser! Just waiting for your handicap plates so you can park up front, right?

Come on Brandon this thing is pure luxury... and the plates are too permanent I’m going with the rear view placard so I can achieve drug dealer status when cruising the hood.

Thanks again for getting her dialed in!
