Oohhh if I had money...... I love the lines of the 19 Spectra/GMT. That one appears to be set up for an outboard as well (can see what appears to be knees at the transom). That would be a BLAST with a 300R on it...

If the #5 on the side of the hull is legit, it might be one of the Del Taco mod VP boats that Jerry Gilbreath campaigned with Greg Foster driving???

I raced one in COR a few years back, great boats. Mine was a carbon Kevlar lay up done by Bob Leach for his good friend Galbraith. Ran 84 mph with a only a 2.0 liter in it.

This one appears to be missing the last five feet of the starboard side.

Why are you saying that it's missing the side? I see some grass growing around it, but I don't see it missing anything?

I'll be that way on the 18- 21 at shaver. If it's still there I'll look at it. Wife might look at me funny since I have two other boats projects going.

That's just overgrown grass.

Two Cents is probably correct that it is an old Del Taco race boat, probably pretty beat but still worth a look.

yea, but it comes with satellite TV, how many race boats do you know have satellite? exactly!

All joking aside. I wish I had the skills to revive it, I always loved these boats. I'd prob be into it 30k after rehab + a wicked 280hp 2.5liter.

Wood can be replaced. If the gel is not spiderwebbed all over the deck then easy regel in the back yard. If it is spider webbed then not worth it in my book.

That’s very cool, I wonder what the story is and how it ended up sitting in a field in Fresno?

I would think it would be cheaper in the long run to spend 10k for the one on Mohave craigslist. Power head and your ready to race. It’s a complete proven boat with a trailer.

This one would be a proven boat as well if it is in fact a former Del Taco race boat. But $$ wise, you're right. You're looking at a few grand just for a trailer for it.

Cool boat, but after having a front row seat seeing a couple of these older boats come apart at the Enduro I'd rather kick down and have a new one laid up --

I was just thinking this. Old endurance race boats should stay retired

Looks like great lawn art. Someone needs to find a place in their front yard for this beauty. :D
