I am in process of installing VesselView mobile on my 210. During the setup you input fuel tank size. I always believed it was 75 gallons however some owners on FB Hallett owners page were discussing 80 gallons. Does someone here have the answer? thank you. @2FORCEFULL

Run it empty then fill it up 🤣

Usually those aluminum tanks are close "estimate" sizes, you don't know until you fill it at the pump from bone dry

My Dad and Uncle have 210's and they have always operated on 80. My uncle ran his out one time and I think it took within a gallon or 2 of 80.

Kind of doubt the 21 footer has 80 gal tank capacity. My 20'10 Spectra had 25 gal per side in the saddle tanks. If the Hallett has belly tank, I don't think there's room for a 80+ size tank would fit there. What is the deadrise of the hull of the Hallett? As Racey suggested, fill it up when the tank is dry.

18 degree dead rise. Refueling when bone dry is not an option for me.

I have a friend with an open bow 210 2005 model and we just discussed this over the weekend. His is 75. My 270 is 125.

Interesting. Think of the possibilities if it's only a 75 gallon tank...

...another cooler of beer
...no more dieting during winter

woot woot

If you went to the Hallett regatta on Mead and participated in the poker run, you quickly realized why they put 75/80 gallon tanks in a 21' boat!

I also learned when the gauge hits half empty - your ass better find some fuel, quick. (yes, half empty, I'm a pessimist)

I only know it costs me 200-300+ a day to run anything Iv ever owned
I don’t pay attention to how many gallons just use it, fill it up, use it, fill it up😂
Pretty sure my 210 showed 75 and believe it held 80
this is making sense. I plan to use VesselView to calculate fuel remaining but I will have starting value @ 75 gallons. thanks everyone for the replies.
