Probably all true.

My wife did this very thing 2 weeks ago. They want more from everyone, with no additional compensation. Gave her the "just give it 2 more weeks, and we'll get you help" about 3 times. They told her that again, then asked why she wasn't done with a task that was from a position she was filling in for all while doing her position. She told them to fuck off and showed up at the house while I was working at about 2pm on a Friday. I knew when the garage door opened that shit had hit the fan.... LOL

Only thing I do not appreciate about her action is the foul language she exposed every child in the store to...I'm sure she forgot to think beyond herself on that front.
Otherwise, you go girl.😌

My GF was only getting $20 to manage a chiro office and hadn't gotten a raise after 2 1/2 years. The guy told her she had to put together a presentation on why she deserved a raise. Meanwhile my 19 year old is getting $17 an hour for a brain dead job. That Chiro guy was a greedy fuck she finally got let go last week she refused to quit cause she wanted unemployment lol but I had to break the news that all the extra money was no longer being paid.

The lesson here is I always try to treat the lower paid employees nicely its the least you can do most of them are having a shitty day

General question on this type of activity as we see it a lot -

Why do people hide there faces (she's wearing a mask too) in an attempt to make themselves unrecognizable, and then post what they did on the internet with an account that has their full name, location and all their personal info?

I heard a lot of reservation in her voice - she took a moment to build the courage then hyperventilated through her comments. She looked to be reading her notes - credit for having her script written out so she made the points she wanted with out forgetting something.

That said, this seems much more like a look at me / video moment than the way to handle a real employment issue.

I’m not defending Walmart here but I can tell you a lot of people feel the same way about their work - I know people making 300k + that feel the way she did.

They don’t handle it like that - they update their resume and get to work finding another job they feel will be a better fit for them and their family.

The people I know don’t typically think “how do I make a giant scene” first - it seems like we have more people in todays world that want to make a scene more than they want to make a change.

This is nothing more than a social media Hey LAM. Now what? Who's going to hire her after that childish outburst? Did she ask for a raise, did she make comments to management, did she go to corporate with her complaints about the store manager's pervertedness? She could could have made a killing if she did, but she just kicked that can down the street.

X1000.

It appears she worked at Gamestop then Walmart, so no real lengthy resume. This is what happens when you have nothing really to lose... go out with a bnag.

That said I hope Starbucks is a better fit and that she still isn't doing that at jobs in another 10 years.

While I agree things could have been handled different, sometimes a statement has to be made. Social media is a very powerful tool and can raise awareness about something that would normally be swept under the rug. Was it justified? I don’t know. But, here we are, on a boating website, talking about it

Funny, but not the way I ever handled stuff. You can say "unprofessional", but stretched ears and a nose ring isn't exactly business attire. If she's been there for 5 years, that's on her, it probably hasn't become much worse. As for being replaceable, yep, pretty much. Every job I had I sure as hell wasn't the first to do it, and wasn't the last. As for "overworked"...nope. I've worked a lot, in crap conditions, but I made myself do it. House payments or feeding kids, that's what pushed me, not the ones paying me.

Hopefully she isn’t in a position to need a job at Walmart in her lifetime. Regardless of the circumstances, NEVER burn bridges. Could you imagine if her future employer was in the store? Would you hire her?

Freakin' snowflake doesn't know what work is.
There's a rude awakening coming for her in the next few decades.

I was going to say she sounds like an immature, narcissistic, attention whore.... But the way you said it comes across a little nicer

That's one way to get black listed in a town
walmart wasn't holding a gun to her head
She accepted the job in the first place
childish exit. Don't let the door hit you in the ass
Yep. She wants attention and to be famous.... no so much. She is not infamous. Good luck finding an employer that wont dig this up.

Fact of the matter is, if she wants, she'd have 4 more job offers that day.
Any place she applies would hire her merely by showing up and showing an interest these days..... and she knows it.

Haha all you self righteous old fucks, never burn a bridge? Of course not, your corporate training keeps you in line! 😜

Maybe it's just me, but if you've ever had enough, and wanted to "tell your tale" so to speak, it's difficult to do so the first time, especially to abusers who infect giant corporations like Shitmart in your "exit interview"...rofl.

I thought it was funny as shit myself.

But then again, my self worth can only be judged by me, I refuse to allow anyone else to, and that's why I am self employed... 😝

IMO she had been shit on one too many times, or groped, or assaulted, you know, because she needs a job, and her socialism degree is worthless....

I have heard plenty of horror stories in my life about working for giant corporations, the grunts get it the worst.

Truth is if she wants a job, there are literally thousands of them atm. All she has to do is show up.

Think about if she went about it in a diplomatic way... going to her manager with her grievances... the whole thing would fall on deaf ears because that person is in the same damn boat as you. Nothing will get fixed, its a HUGE corporation that takes a mountain to move. The only way any of these issues will get any attention is if there is a big shock and awe moment that impacts them monetarily. The current popular method for some of these "kids" to do that is to go viral on some social platform. Then they get some bad PR, their stock prices are influenced and they take some virtue signaled method and give everyone an extra $.02/hr and it all goes away for another month.

Thats how todays world works.

If what she's saying about her superiors and management is true, good for her. Didn't need to drop f bombs on the pa system - but I can overlook that.

I say well done. F WM. I'd ride that pervert Manager hard into the Sunset. Good for her. More than one way to skin a cat. FKR should be in fear 24/7. Once the perverts find out they're under surveillance in store, and out, they exit the picture pretty fn fast. Cowards.

People are assholes.

My daughter just took a job at Starbucks and listening to her stories about customers going off because of simple mistakes is mind blowing. It's a cup of coffee.

Sometimes the customer is dead fawking wrong. There's no reason to treat anybody like shit, regardless of who they are or where they work.

To use that language where so many older respectful folks that are on a budget and tons of kids are usually shopping there is over the top. She should have thought it out more where it could be more effective if that was her goal, but her goal seemed like she was just fed up and wanted to just tell them off...I think we will see a rant from BK or Micky D's from her someday lol lol...PS, if you do not like where you work, MOVE ON and quit your bitching snowflakes....you took the job, you stayed at the job when there are hundreds of jobs available but you were to lazy to go find a better job.....
