GAME STOP AND REDDIT

So I know very little about either of these, UNTIL, I get up to go to work this morning, 5am, and I see one of my boys door is open and the light on. I go in there and he is asleep in from of his monitor. I wake him up ready to preach to him about going to bed at a reasonable hour, he is 21 living at home and going to school.

He wakes up and tells me "welcome to where the real money is made!" little shit got in the reddit group that pushed up the stock of game stop and AMC. He got game stop at 80 and amc at 16. Now mind you we are not talking retirement money by any means but he did make more last night than I do in a month! Not sure what his plan is, nor does he, I told him its like playing black jack, get your initial investment out and let her ride!

Would have been nice if he let a brother in on it.

Reddit is pretty amazing. Wall Street Bets is the sub reddit. Get in on all these early and dump before it gets too crazy high. I don't see how wall street could stop it. Maybe if the news gets out... but as noted above you hold out too long and you'll get burned. But then perhaps you can short it on the way down and make some more. LOL Legalized gambling is what this is.

I told her, Game Stop is dead no matter how this plays out.

Steam is where it's at now. Game Stop can't last much longer.
