Don’t know if I can respect a man driving around with a gas cap off and lid open. Especially when driving around town in a jet boat killer. Spotted at Running Man Fuel.

In the late 70s when the V6 outboards hit the market stock jet boats became an easy target with a 5 to 10 mph advantage.
I was running a 200 HP rude with nitrous on a center steer 500 pound tunnel in 1977 (see picture) and would go to Parker to pick on jet boats. In 77 most folks didn’t have a clue how fast outboards could be.

Sweet......I had a 20.2 Lavey Sebring..... with a 235 Rude.

Had a 1982 19.5 Raysoncraft with a 1991 225hp Blackmax that was scary fast at times. Sold it in 2011 to Kyle at WOTM. He did it right and maybe some day I'll get it back...
