On behalf of all those who have been, or currently are, self employed construction contractors:

You, my kind sir, are a FUCKTARD!

When the last lib jacked fuel costs, my daily vehicle was 15mpg. A one ton truck was a necessity for the field I was in. I pushed between 75 and 100k a year. On the low side, 5000 gallons of diesel fuel. That was just for my truck, not the other trucks or equipment. That dollar amount is a substantial number. People who work in an office, or sit at a desk, have no clue of some of the costs involved. They only whine about why work on their homes costs so much.
My truck got 15...the average commercial semi averages between 4 and 7...but I'm sure all libtards know how to grow food. Must be easy, you don't need a degree to be a farmer:rolleyes:

In 2012, diesel hit 5.30$ a gallon in Cali., 26,000$ is a significant amount...

I used to own a towing company with about a dozen trucks. The highest millage any of them got was 8. Our monthly fuel bill would take your breath away. The trucks empty weighed 8500 - 120000 lbs. add another 3-7k + for the customers vehicle, you get the picture. When fuel prices went up we were forced to raise the millage charge. Especially when you consider the one way charge.

Reason I say this is because the rise in energy costs will effect everything, Not just the cost of filling your tank.

The wife and I drive roughly 25K miles a year. 15K miles on an i3 and 10K on a Raptor. Her i3 is moot in this case...

10k miles at 16MPG is 625 gallons... Fuel going from 2-5 bucks is less than a $2K difference. Not an insignificant dollar amount but not life changing either. Put another way, $2K is way less than I spent helping Trump get evicted from the white house...
Just like a fucking Democrap, you could give a flying fuck about the poor people, black, brown it doesn't matter to your kind, just as long as they get their freebies 2 months before an election!!

Fuck Demoshits and especially squeezy you POS!!!

I’ll have to take your word for it, the links says you have to open in Instagram and I don’t have an account.

I don’t have one and it played.

It honestly depends upon what one thinks a Republican/conservative is.

Trump Republican/conservatism is 180 degrees different than a Reagan Republican/conservatism. They believe in polar opposite polices and the two groups are antithetical to each other and rationally should not be in the same party.

So if one thinks Trump Republicanism is a Republican, then voting out Cheney is voting out a RINO.

And if one thinks Reagan Republicanism is a Republican, then they did not.

If you put aside all the personal insults in here, that is simply what it objectively boils down to. Two groups who have absolutely nothing in common from a government policy standpoint.
when was the last time there was a real conservative in any government office? and who was it?

Damn . . . I run in the ocean and get over to catalina a few times a year.
Gas prices at Two Harbors when things are normal are in the $7+ / gallon range for unleaded.
I'm scared to see what they are now, probably over $10 I'd imagine.

Makes perfect sense....
After spending money to get rid of Trump, you get to spend even more money to buy fuel.

sounds like you were money ahead with Trump.

Squeezer and his ilk will do just fine as long as YOU and your ilk keep WORKING no matter who in the WH.

Just what kind is that? The kind that recognizes the conflicts of interest in our current political system? Supporters didn't seem to mind Trump appointees with skin in the game.

Interesting convo. Been holding steady at $2.59 here for a few weeks now.

Love to see the Semi truck trailers full of batteries required/needed to be towed along with the equipment/Implements to run: Pump jacks. Combines. 8 row cotton strippers. All other IC farm equipment. Well pumps. Replace Hospital emergency generators. Backup pump systems in any heavy Industry. Etc. Etc.

How to even recharge all that/ Plus replace All IC vehicles, with Electric? Yeah. Um. Sure! Maybe all the Happy Ass Tree Huggers can just start Shitting out all those Batteries right now...

Chevy still provides 454 BBC motors to a Manufacterer of Well pumps here. No power out in the Middle of Nowhere, USA.
Electricity? Replace the IC engine? C'mon Man!

So, to recap: on day one of Biden acting as president, he canceled the Keystone Pipeline. Shortly thereafter he began to make it increasingly difficult to drill. To me, its clear the President owns the terrible situation we are in with regard to: inflation, fuel prices, and now the resulting rocket ship rise in interest rates.

When will people learn that democrats hate business but love control.

@530RL did I miss anything?

So if Biden cannot control gas prices with his policies then why do you hate Trump for placing tariffs on China ? It could in no way have changed any of your business as he cannot control prices .

LOL, spoken like the "only true conservative" on the planet!

So I guess you are not a fan of the Hicks-Hansen model either, for figuring out why I mentioned interest rates?

I don’t hate Trump, I disagree with his and his supporters belief that government knows what is best for the consumer as opposed to the individual American getting to make that choice absent of liberal politicians attempting to pick the winners and losers with things like tariffs.

please elaborate on the blanket statement where anyone on the right has said the government knows what is best for the consumer. Or if you want to pretzel it out, where you think one of us said we think that tariffs are a good way for someone to buy bananas or some other good or service. The government does one thing well, and that is create messes.

All I can say is fire away Beav, but all this Pretzelitizing will definitely have ongoing long term effects. This will not end well.

Fair Warning. This will not be a simple procedure, like we did Back in the Day, on the Chicken Ranch. At all. Continue at your own risk of peril.

There, we'd just glove up, reach on in, grab you, gather up all your insides outside, lube you up real good, and shove everything right back on up in there and hope for the best! 'Murica!

PS,

The story gets better! And that's not even the sad story...
