Gas and Diesel prices are up about $1.30 over last year. Our usual trip to Havasu uses 30 gals of Diesel and 120 of boat gas. That rounds up to an extra $200 each trip. 😳😬. Som bitch that’s gonna pinch especially busy months. What’s everyone’s plans.

When we used to commute I added a 75 gallon tank in my truck. Typical savings was over $75 a full up. I could drive back and then drive around for a week and change and drive back without buying diesel in California. I paid $3.39 last night in havasu, I paid $5.25 last trip to california. This route makes even more sense now.

I live at the river now so the launch ramp is at the end of my street. The boat can get to all the local beaches within minutes once on the water.

No doubt. I’ve been talking about buying a commuter car for way too long. $5 a gallon diesel is enough of a nudge to get it done.

That definitely cuts down the bill😁

I remembered that the big boat is carrying 750 gallons of diesel so we're going to start pumping into the trucks from there.

Looking for anything in particular? I can keep my eyes peeled.

The Excursion rarely gets Cali Diesel so I will probably just continue with our program. However, I may just leave the Excursion at the river with the boat and just take the Volt or the Malibu. The Volt takes right around six gallons and a charge to get to the River.

Same as before except every time I fill up now I say “Let’s go Brandon”

Makes me feel a little better. I sure hope the people who voted for that idiot are happy ! They should pay and additional dollar a gallon just to support deadhead.

I’m not convinced Biden voters are tooling around in big cars, twin engine boats or burning a bunch of 100LL or jet A. 🤷

Every celebrity and democrat in government does...
Every celebrity that “chased their dream”, spent days doing auditions, nights waiting tables thinks .gov should support the arts. That and they know it’s not the MAGA crew supporting their movies, music and MERCH.

Fuel prices won’t change my routine, I haven’t had the free time to tow to the river more that twice a year recently anyway. I can boat up here almost every weekend on 200 gallons all Summer.

Same with me. We’re busier than a one armed paper hangar and it is getting busier.

I’d love a slow down to catch up as would every employee and partner.

This year We plan to CRUSH it !! I need to blast thru the 30 HR mark on my 4 year old boat!

Tuesday Wednesday Thursday boating is da bomb!

as for the car / truck fuel I don’t even look at the gallon cost! Just fill it up! $150 & $100 fill ups seem to be the new normal!!

Bottom line is -
if you like high fuel, high taxes, empty store shelves, health mandates, expensive electric and Nat gas and inflated Health Care then Vote Dem!

If Russia invades Ukraine oil will go to $100/barrel. What's that going to do to the price of gas?????

Yep - I'm hearing 87 Octane will be $6.00 per gallon in Commiefornia by summer. #FJB Let's Go Brandon

My boat is pretty efficient on fuel so it's not going to change my boating program. However the 600 mile round trip commute is another story. Might be going for longer weekends and less overall trips if gas prices get stoopid!

No doubt. Gonna be an interesting year. Normal years (non-stimmy), when gas prices spike it pulls down a lot of industries.
