General Boat Insurance

I know everybody here on RDP claims they have insurance , but has anybody been involved with someone that didn’t have insurance ? What was the outcome ? If you don’t have insurance , what is your reasoning ? I think there’s far more people without Ins , and what if you killed somebody ? Kinda curious what the actual numbers are . On those dash cam YouTube videos, I’m surprised at the amount of hit and runs because of no Ins . And it’s required by law .
