GENTRY TURBO SYSTEM

SOLDGentry turbo system for a BBC std deck,intercooler has been pressure checked & flushedout,reassmbled wit new o-ring material & gaskets. Turbos are Garrett 408316-9008 rebuilt. Turbo exhaust housings are cast iron, pressure checked and new waste gate shafts & valves installed by Brummett. Carb air boxes are 4" opening, if wanted to go bigger turbos. dual 650's feeding a single motor is too small? 1300cfm for a single bbc?

On my 540 with a Race Aero kit I run dual 830's. Yes 650's seem small for a single bbc! Lol

thanks for all the experts for chimining in about carbs,but a dominator is only 1050.1150/or 1250cfm on a BBC ,Have a bbc 565with a 1050 dominator single putting out close to 700hp N/A,and for the experts i have a friend that has an 468cu with a race aero system with 650 carbs putting out over 800hp in a 24' Schiada Basically the carbs are fore gas mileage an efficiency as we use the boats for sking and watersports at Powell and Lake Mead

Wasn't claiming to be an expert! I simply was saying I have never seen a gentry kit with dual 650's. I thought it might be a typo. Carson typically uses 830's from what I understand.

i was actually saying the 650 pair was adequate. i know plenty about cfm, VE, etc. glws looks like a sweet setup.
