Most athletic dog we've ever had and we've had 20 or so. He can run all day, wants to please, and needs lots of space to be on his own. Not a good small back yard choice. He runs for the shear joy of it. they have the run of the house, they are clean, no smell (even wet). awesome breed!!!!!

My son just picked up one about 6 weeks ago from a breeder outside of Salt Lake City. As has been said earlier, great dogs with lots of energy and highly intelligent. She and my Pittie are great friends.

I inherited this guy from my EX BIL 3 years ago when he suddenly passed away at 40YO. Benelli was bought from a breeder in the Midwest for I think $5k. He is all liver color and I think 10YO now. Hes an amazing dog! A bit spastic at times, but what a great addition he has been to my home! I he has blown out BOTH ACL's now, and has bounced back from surgery fairly well.

This one won’t stand still long enough to get a decent picture, one is a screenshot from a video. She moves too fast. Not the right dog for sedentary lifestyles.😊

I don’t have any In’s but they are great dogs👍
On my short list of dogs I’d own in a heartbeat.

Such great dogs! I did a loan awhile back for a corrections officer and he also was a breeder. Based out of Yucaipa. Been a long time so don't remember his name, but you may want to try google and look in that area.

We found two at the pound in HB in 2000, Pointer-German Shorthaired Pointer mix, both gone now they lived about 15 years, as people have said full of energy and very smart.

I've spent many years of Hunting with GSP's as mentioned above so please prepared to become very active LOL great dogs but better categorized as working Machines.
I ended up with a 32 lb. BMF Mini Aussie very similar in mannerisms but 40lb's lighter and maybe next time ending up with a GSP when I get more time to hunt, enjoy.

Wife would like a wired hair version. All seem like great dogs. Maybe I could up my quail game?

I owned a GSP 20 years ago. He was a full bore bird dog. Never walked on a leash shorter than 12’. Spastic is an understatement, but the dog could hunt down and retrieve Mearns quail like nobody’s business. Dog never spent a day in the house. Always kenneled in the dog run. I use to work the dog in the neighborhood park with a pigeon on surveyor tape. My wife got a kick out of the crowd that would assemble during Woah training. Great breed...

The wife and I are actively looking for a wirehair pup at the moment. With all the time at home now would be a great time to adopt. Unfortunately everyone is thinking this.

If anyone knows where there is a litter, please let me know.

The only dog my dog has a issue with at the park. I won’t blame the dog completely as the owner is fucking nuts.

Some friends have farm land about an hour from Sioux Falls, SD where we do a yearly pheasant hunt trip. There are a couple of these in the bunch. One in particular, Gunny, lost a limb out in the field one year due to stepping into a large hole during a full sprint while on the hunt. Vet had to amputate as it wasn’t reparable. Years later, you still can’t keep him off the field with 3 legs. Dog’s energy is amazing!

I used to "walk" ours on my longboard. First time out she ripped me right off the board and took me for a drag. Ok no problem you wanna run lets run. Dog wasn't freaked out by the board at all. Off we go freaking flying. Dog hasn't had a day of training to be a hunting dog or anything else for that matter. We come around a corner at the end of the street dog sees a cat stops dead in a full gallop and points at the cat. I dodge the stopped dog drop the leash and hit the front of a car. Welp I am airborne for what feels like an eternity do a whole flip in the air over the hood and go down pretty hard. Face arms legs I am a bloody mess at this point. Dog never breaks the point. It was one of those falls where it takes ya a minute or two to get back up. Dog never moves. Just standing their pointing at the cat and looking at me like "hey you idiot its over there get off your ass."

We slowly make our way back to the house. I'm covered in blood. Mom asks "Shit are you ok?" I say "dog can hunt and Isaac Newton was right."

She was a great dog. Her favorite thing in the world was to play fetch. All day long she would go after that ball and put it right back in your hand. My arm would fall off before that dog would stop putting it in my hand. I miss our shorthair she was an amazing animal.

That was another story dog would go round and round in the in ground jacuzzi and make her own whirlpool. I think the pointer might have been the smartest dog we ever had.

I come home one day to a racket in the backyard. I walk out back and there are a hundred crows at least on the wire cawing like crazy. Dog grabbed one out of the air and is standing gaurd as crow after crow dive bombs her. I walk out to a scene from a horror movie. I grab the dog by the collar and back my way inside as crows continue to dive and well crow.... Damn I miss that dog.
