Awesome, going June 19-22 out of Key West.Hahahaha! Hey Buddy! Honestly, I don't! Man if I did I would give you whatever you wanted! What patterns would you be interested in though???
I tied a ton of bonefish flies for the Bahamas but those are usually smaller in size than what you would need for the Keys. Keys bones are larger, hence the larger flies.
Tell me what you're interested in (Pattern and size), and I will tie a few for you. I'll get them to you before your trip and you can either throw them in the trash or take them and see if they work. Deal?
Ever try OPST, Commando Skagit tips? Here are a few more.

I'll add some more pictures as I wrap up a few more flies. These four are all tied on Owner saltwater hooks in various hook sizes. Back to the vise!
PM sent,No Sir I haven't tried them but I'm always interested to try new things. I'm easy!
So I have this little collection of flies I need to send to someone. PM me an address Sir and I'll get them sent out.
PURE ART WORK THERE BUDDY!!I like an 8 weight but I'm flexible.
Here is a teaser of some stuff sitting around on our dining room table! I wish I knew someone who could use these suckers!

AND THE WINNERS ARE...(other than me!)A package was delivered to your casa at 3:50! Notes say it was left at the front door.
You know, all this time I thought you were called backlash for a different reason. I think I just put two plus two together and realized the real reason. Yes I am a little slow.Good afternoon!
I hope you all are doing well! We've been super-busy with everything else in life, and I've only had one fishing trip this year. During that expensive boat ride, I managed to land two little Calico bass, and that was it. I have found some spare time at night to play around on the vise, and this is one I whipped on "On the fly." Nice play on words.
I saw a similar pattern on IG and decided to make my own version. This is a pattern for targeting redfish in Central Florida and I thought why not whip up a few. Maybe someday, I'll have the opportunity to fish for some reds (Doubtful, but you never know!)
The hook is a #1 and the brass eyes are size small.

I figured I'd make a few of these just in case I have a chance to wet a line. As always, thank you for checking in.
Stay safe and have a fantastic day!
Better late than never! The only rear end I'm good with, is my wife's.You know, all this time I thought you were called backlash for a different reason. I think I just put two plus two together and realized the real reason. Yes I am a little slow.
Good afternoon Joe!Holy chit...
Never saw this thread before today. That's some amazing work!!!
And you have the results of your work as well? Gotta be proud of All that!
Good afternoon Joe!
Thank you SOOOO much for the compliment! Honestly, I'm just a hack and I'm a long ways away from mastering this craft. This is a simple hobby I picked up from my father years ago. He got me interested in fly tying and fly fishing several decades ago, and it always seemed like something him and I connected with. He passed away five years ago, but I still continue to dabble with these creations as a sense of relaxation.
My father, a true Waterman, was born and raised in Florida. He was a genuine Conch, being born in Key West. Throughout his life, he fished all over the state, from Central Florida south to the Florida Keys. Gulf Coast, Atlantic Coast, Mosquito Lagoon and the Everglades. He's been there done that.
I would make different flies and then send them to him to see what worked (If anything). I tied the flies and he'd fish with them. It seemed like a good team.
I haven't had the opportunity to fish with any of these recent additions, as I've just been too busy with life and other priorities. I'm hopeful that will change in the Springtime.
In the meantime, I'll slowly continue to add to various boxes I'm assembling for different locales. The goal is to have enough of an assortment of flies for various fish....wherever I'm able to go. Thank you for the kind words and for following along. I do appreciate it Sir!
Thank you Sir!!Sounds like your dad would be damm proud as well.
