I wish Ben would get his own show on a major station (OAN, FOX)

Buddy lives and runs his own VERY successful business in a really nice part of Tn, Collierville. Boats on Pickwick and in LOTO. He likes it a lot. It's a great state. I don't know if I'd move to Nashville though. If I left L.A. / Ca. I wouldn't be moving into another large city.

Nope, you got it all wrong, I want you all to GTFO, take all your friends and everybody you can and I don't care why. Not to say I won't beat you to the border 😂

but if you watch the video, thats the problem... the people who are able to leave (most likely due to their income level) who can realize that this state is no longer a positive life experience will leave... and all the people who dont know better, or who are unable to leave will be left. the state will eventually be forced to squeeze even more the lower middle class in an effort to fix itself by pouring more money onto the fire. It'll just get worse and worse. You want to stay with that?

Let’s makes this easy = everyone voting for the free shit and liberal democratic BS needs to leave.
Once gone and we will have folks running the state that put LEGAL CITIZENS first, BUSINESSES First. Society works better when you put citizens first, reduce business regulations, etc. Let’s get back to the work hard, play hard mentality.

I'm fuckin kinda old, the problems you're talking about are for the younger crowd to fret over. I've got the means to stay regardless, hell, I'll spend my kids inheritance if need be.
I've got my Havasu escape hatch and a mountain ranch as options. I've been looking for a place to move to for ten years and have yet to find it. It's too hot, it's too humid, it's too cold, I'm looking for that Goldilocks place and other than my fear of being burned alive where I live, I'm living in Goldilocks already. I was looking in the south and eastern seaboards to be on the water ---- well, BLM has fucked that idea all up, I'm not moving anywhere with a certain large ethnic demographic, no way.

I'm not watching any dumb-ass video, I've been alive in this state for 72 years, what, you think he's going to say something I don't already know ?

Honestly, I'm not being an asshole here, if I could find a place TO MY LIKING, I'll move, but until then, I'm staying right where I'm at. But, I'm being honest when I write, that I do want all the rest of you to move as soon as possible. 👍 I'll gladly take my chances with what's left.

I feel sorry for you. The MAJORITY in California are the ones "voting for free shit" - you're in the minority and every day you and others like you are part of a smaller number as people are fleeing that state as fast as possible

One of our kids needed a port installed for his cancer treatment.
The hospital's surgeon (not the one my wife works at nor is affiliated) did 6 of them in kids that day.
It's flexible, thin glass tubing that runs from the shoulder to the stomach and manifolds out in spots on the body.

Made out of glass and the installing doctor had no experience and no clue what she was doing.
They shattered inside the kids.
All the kids have these glass shards that can't be easily removed by surgery. Pain and agony, numbing and damaging.

The hospital running scared, gave the kids Carte Blanche on all kinda pain killers relaxers, nerve numbing agents,, endless crap.
Kids got addicted.

Son was driving and got rolled. The Leos opened his truck filled with coffee cans of you name the drug. All legally obtained but not legal to own in those vast amounts.

Yeah lots more to the story and lots more blame to spread around.

I mentioned how opiate addiction ruined our son and I lost friends in here from that post.

In Nevada it would hall have been swept away and dismissed. Not in Cali.
It's a cross I'm still carrying.

100% agree. Once we all leave, not sure how CA keeps paying for all the idiot programs they have. That is when the riots start.

Think about this:
In 1962, Carroll Shelby moved from Texas to Venice, CA to design and build his cars. How insane does that seem today. I read an article that quoted Jerry Brown as saying “Where you going to go?” In reference to people leaving California. How about any fucking where.

I read his arrogant statement too. Ca has gone from milk & honey to shit in a tortilla since the 90’s. I suppose it’s just human nature however. The carpet baggers that ruined the place will do the same to the next place.

I’ve been shopping for homes in Chattanooga cause I do not think NV will be a full Red state for long. Too many CA’ people leaving there for here and then voting the bullshit in where they just left.

Although I will not have school aged kids-I still look at school district ratings and performance. Some schools have a very low diversity mix. Talkin 3% black and 5% Hispanic. Very high college attendance and testing.

Looking for a couple of acres that’s backs up to a lake.
Did you know TN is in the top 5 places friendly to retire in? CA and OR are in the bottom 5

What I keep hearing echoed among the hallways of the great cathedral of RDP are the words of so many, when the hoards of Central Americans were marching towards the borders of the USA --- "Why don't they stay in their own countries and fight to make them better". And yet, I wonder how many of those who made that statement are now ready to flee to another state, who's residents really don't want you, regardless of who you vote for. I believe there's a word for that, hmmmm, now what is that, starts with an "H". 🤔

Any idea how many BLM advocates live there ?? I'm asking, not making a statement as Tenn is one of the states I was considering, in order to live on the water.

No matter where you go there are problems.

In November Arizona will most likely have the 9th highest income tax rate in the nation along with property tax rates almost double California's prop 13 limit.

Texas has no income tax but high property tax and the weather is worse in some parts than Arizona and I was born there. Tornadoes, tropical storms, and bugs that can carry you away.

Florida is.....well it is Florida and I think it took two Arizona summers to dry out from 6 summers in Florida when dad was stationed there.

So the grass is always greener, but there is no one place that is just perfect year round with respect to weather, people or taxes. I just hope enough people move out of Ca to lower the housing prices because sure as hell, the wife is going to want another summer house over there.......it does have good weather.......

I hear this often but wonder how true this is. A few different demos are leaving. Many of leaving because of Cost of living, this could include some lower/middle class liberals.

But Many of the exodus are leaving because of principle, like High taxation, shit politics, congestion, high crime, infringement of freedoms, business regulation, inability to defend your family and self.

I would imagine red states would openly welcome the latter.

The weather in california sucks due to global warming. All the forests are burnt to a crisp. There are piles of human dung everywhere. Used drug needles are flug on the streets. Plus state government is dominated by a socialist supermajority. Not to mention the current governor outdoes, by a substantial margin, the previous commie govenor.

Think twice before buying here. Renting is a more sound idea.

Got out before ca really goes to shit.I dont think the end of increasing taxes is near in ca either.Someone will have to pay for the pensions, free stuff to illegals, that stupid train, and cost of the firefighting.Dont forget that green energy too no way ca can rely on its own power they have to buy from other states when the other states decide not to sell power it will get worse.

We left in june and its been great so far yes az has been hot this summer but 105 feels nice now and i got use to it real fast but a round of high 90s last week was great and end of month it should get better.I really dont miss ca found fishing spots i can do within 2 hr drive for streams and creeks, going to look for shooting areas soon to camp out in desert as well.Local lake has been great to boat on during the week unlike any so cal lake i have been to(which has been lots of years).

when are you leaving?

thats the tough question for me... both me and my wife are in jobs for 10+ years. we have kids that just started school. I'd like to do it before they start building relationships/friendships/commitments that will be hard for them to move away from.

those of you have that done it, what was the first step?

My family moved several times when my sister and I were in school. We dealt with it and learned to make new friends. Being part of a healthy family and making the move together is what enabled us all to deal with the changes.

Kids are flexible. Talk to them and move.

As for the first step: decide where you're going to move to. Step 2 sell your house

I don't chastise anyone for leaving. I chastise those who continually try to validate their own decision to leave on this forum by pointing out every little nuance of the California bullshit that we deal with. As if those of us who have compelling reasons to stay (ie, work family, aging parents etc.) don't know what's wrong this state. We do. Many of us have learned to deal with the system to our advantage.

I think the word u are referencing to is H = HAPPY!! Because I know that’s the way I feel now, an the way I will feel in a week an a half when I drive me an my family an all my shit across state lines to get the f**** out this pedophile, criminal, an illegal immigration sanctuary dump of a state. I laugh at those that keep telling themselves otherwise...

So long as he's leaving, it shows all these negative and fake social media posts I've been making are working. Life, improving, one moving van loaded and leaving at a time. 👍

I left for wanting property and less crowds. There were places in the central valley, but wife went to Fresno for school, didn't want to go back. Maybe the vast majority leaving now are "well off", but we sure as shit weren't. Move wherever you think you'll be happy. If that doesn't work, pick up and move again. Taxes in Cali hurt, but that was because I made decent money...I showed them revenuers, I don't make squat now.

Again u have it all backwards more like endless caravans are leaving their home lands headed straight for California !! Lmao!! Some truth to ur post they are life improving one Caravan at a time to Cali! I don’t see ur life improving their. Like to live in a state where I can look up pedophiles make sure my daughters are safe. Not a state where they legalize them...... if that makes this state ur happy place, plz stay where u are at!!!
