My 5 girls are getting big. Keep them screened in at night now as last year I got hit with tobacco worms real hard and almost lost it all. Not gonna let that happen this year.

Cleaned out the center and separated today. Needs some calcium take care of that tomorrow with some ground up egg shells.

Worked really well. I only gave them one dose a few weeks ago and going to give them another dose tomorrow. They really took off once applied. Should have done it month's ago to be honest.

Yea she just thinned these a week ago but they are thriving for sure with the "hot soil" we used this year along with the food shes been feeding! Well probably stake branches out in the next week or so.

Question, this is where I struggle. Mine are just starting to "flower" or bud nicely. whats the go to food for this stage and what's the dosage? 2 years ago I used Fox's anything better? As for trimming, the large leafs are gone and added a lot more sun light to the buds that are appearing. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying this Bloom KaBoom this year. Has good reviews and what the hell it's worth a try. Just mixed a batch this morning and feed them.

Spent some time on the phone with my commerical fishing / bud hobbyist up in Oregon yesterday, sent me some pics of his indoor and outdoor "Herb" gardens, being retire this looks like a really fun hobby.
I asked him about odor control, he laughed, just told me to tell my older more fuddy-duddy neighbors (Even more so than me) I had a skunk living under my house and he won't leave.

I agree, I'm sick of it --- yet, with each side obsessed with their agendas and ideals, it's hard to find an aspect of our daily lives that isn't being manipulated and controlled by one party or the other. Perhaps if this was a sewing forum ?

For indoor you just run your fan ducting through a charcoal filter before it vents outside. You wont be able to smell anything outside.

Hey, keep the fucking politics out of our grow room please! Nobody ever smoked a bowl and went home to beat the shit out of his wife or kid's. It's not heroin either people. Alcohol should be outlawed before weed, that's the true gateway unless you're a happy drunk like myself

I like the Fox Farms nutrients. Really don't want to top any of my plants this year. Have 1 about to reach over the 6ft fence. These pics are 2 weeks apart. That screws with the shade / bud cycle. These only get about 8 hours of direct sun. If it reaches over adds about 4 more hours of sun. Might tie it sideways, I love that untopped bud on top.

What's the consensus on trimming all the leaves at budding time? I've tried both, didn't notice much difference.

I've trimmed and not trimmed and I can't tell the difference as well.
I'm going to try and loop my biggest girl over as I love that top bud.

The thing is pot heads won't go 80 on the water because we know we're stoned and that's not a good idea. Drunks go 80 because they feel invincible, then crash and die or worse kill someone who didn't mean to get in their way

Well your not the only one...
Went to trim some of the fan leaves last weekend with my SIL and we spotted a few seeds. Nothing like yours are but there are seeds at the base of the buds. Hoping to save some of the 6 plants at some point.
One of my neighbors had the same thing happen to all of his plants...
Bummer...

Still have some good flowers, but the seeds suck. The seeds are so mature I think the had to get fertilized from somewhere else in the neighborhood. Every body and their brother grows out here

Kind of bummed. They where thriving before the whole fire/smoke shit, then they went dormant. Soo.. strip them down and put them in to "final stage". They seem to be fighting back a little but, the yield will be down for sure! But the quality is going to be great. The "Cinex", "Purple Diesel" and the "Strawberry Mango" are going to be my favorites this year.

Back at it...
Since we're doing an addition to our home I haven't had time/room to grow anything this season. Backtrack to May of this year and my Dermatologist gave me 3 plants that were about 18-20" tall in pots from seeds he got from his buddy that grows professionally. I took them to my buddy's house that grows outdoors and he set them in the ground. He has a 1,500gl fish pond in his back yard so he uses the water from the pond to water the girls. Well one of them turned out to be a male so it was pulled early on. The other two strains are striving and it's gonna be a good crop if nothing interferes with our process. This one was topped early on and is now starting to bud. She's gotta be 6-7' tall and atleast 8' in diameter. When I pull into his driveway and open my car door I can smell the sweetness. It's gonna be a decent crop that's for sure.
