Getting the racers ready !

This last month has been full of trucks, trailers and toters getting upgrades for the 2023 race season. I like this work WAY more then rv repairs. I get to fab cool stuff thats rattling away in my idea vault.

I put a massive I forget how many thousands of watts stereo/entertainment system in one of these a couple years ago. the outside cargo hatches open up to show 14" subs and and several coaxial 8"s and thats just the outside. linked tvs inside and a chord that pulls out so that a projector can be shined on the side at night. athe guy said, "I want a massive stereo and there needs to be be speakers here, here, and here." dont ask me why he wanted it, but it was fun as hell to build.

You cant make fun of me , im old and dont care . But seriously most of that stuff is made from scraps behind the shear and I am rocket man at fabbing that kinda stuff.

Just some kidding around. There's always something that can be fabbed to make the in between rounds thrash faster, easier, and less likely to screw up.

Some of the tool racks and similar equipment you've made are brilliant. You only get one chance to do the round rebuild correctly. If it goes wrong, you've lost the race in the pits, and no racer wants that to happen. It's a shitty feeling to throw away a round win because of a preventable mistake.

Yep … very cool .
I built 3 Featherlite show trailers for Meguiar’s through the years.
One was built by Bruce Canepa … sooo luxurious!
We were very lucky to have that kind of budget.
