Not sure exactly what I am doing but think this site might be a good place to ask advise. I want to buy my husband either an onboard air compressor or spare tire rack for 2018 RZR 1000. I am sure both would be nice but price wise only one is doable at this time. Looking at the Full Metal FabWorks Adventure Air Compressor Polaris RZR XP 1000 and haven't picked out a rack yet. Any advise on which would be best as a starting point would be really appreciated.

This spare tire rack is the best, and a great price. Do you have an aftermarket roll cage on yours? This will work with most but not all of them.

Get the spare tire rack. To me the onboard compressor is a waste. I just throw my Viair in my tool kit and away we go.

go w/ the tire rack rack!

or you can do both! What color cordless tools does he already have?

these are tool only so he would need to use his existing battery and charger

Ryobi cordless air compressor is cheap at depot..... $20 bucks
Milwaukee inflator is $80 it’s the one I have and I just used it last Saturday twice..... Dammm screw in my tire!

I have on board air on my jeep ( ARB Compressor was $700 alone ) and I would not do it on my can am, the portable ones listed work way better cheaper and easier

I have a 2018 RZR XP41000 and have the KSH Box/Spare rack. Made locally here in Havasu and around $400. Box holds plenty of stuff, including portable pump and I am able to see out the back, which a lot of spare racks don't allow you to do. I highly recommend it.

Get the tire rack. Does he have a spare tire already? If not, there’s lots of used ones on this forum for around $100. If you want to get a compressor too, Harbor Freight has some decent ones for $30-$40. It won’t get used very often, so it will last.
The onboard compressors are cool, it too much money for what they are.

I have both spare tire rack and the full metal fab works air compressor.

I have never used the air compressor, never needed to. Spare tire rack Weill never had a flat top but I love it, it doesn’t break like the higher end ones

@LargeOrangeFont, the one he posted is what we both have, 1000 plus miles on them not one issue

You have all been so helpful!!!!!! RZR is stock. Hasn't been used much due to work being so busy the past couple years. Hoping to get more use out of it this winter. I think I will get the tire rack for Christmas and maybe for birthday get a compressor. Right now he seriously uses a bicycle pump to add air.

I would agree and get the rack. Buy a cheap 12v pump as well

UTV King spare rack is what I got too. Got lucky and purchased while they had a $25 off deal. I carry a plug kit & a can of fix-a-flat.
