Gilbert / AZ Peeps suggestions

I have to be in Gilbert Az in May. I belong to the the Hyatt, there is a Hyatt in Gilbert and in Phoenix. I've never been, looking for the good, bad, and ugly on either? It's just for a night. Thanks

The Hyatt in Phoenix is downtown, so I would think there would be way more to do there than in Gilbert.

There are a bunch of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Can't go wrong with pizza...this place is awesome.

If Scottsdale is not too far stay at Hyatt Gainey Ranch, awesome facility. If Scottsdale too far, I agree, downtown is best, walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. I have stayed at both many times.

+100. Nothing wrong with Gilbert, but it is a typical suburb. Downtown PHX or Scottsdale are better locations.
