They are so stupid they don't realize their 2k a month won't buy them dick as there will be nobody to produce it unless you pay them much more than the 2k, which will just drive the prices up (as we are already seeing right now) 🤣 🤣

I was checking out with groceries at a local frys yesterday and there were about 10 people behind me. Only two lanes open, each older women in their 70s both cashiering and bagging. I asked her why they don’t open another lane and have baggers and she said they’ve been trying to hire but can’t get anyone to work. What a shame. I already knew the answer but she confirmed it.

You know that’s bad, those are usually union jobs.

Or, how about shitty jobs are for students, young people and low IQ individuals like yourself who can’t get a real job without a union or government handout? Idiot.

Bagging groceries or washing dishes or serving at a restaurant are jobs, they’re not supposed to be a career you moron.

Why should healthcare be tied to your job?

Quit the shitty job and get a better job, it will have healthcare as well, shitty jobs are not the only jobs with health care.

They are also not the only jobs with shitty healthcare.

I agree. Business should not be required to provide any form of Healthcare. Nor should the government. It should be 100% private. 100% free market. No workie...no paying for Healthcare, no Healthcare. Its called personal responsibility and freedom

Healthcare should be private or insurance should be private? Do you know the difference?

Ok, fair enough. Is it OK for an able-bodied 25 year old to sit on their ass all day at home with no job doing nothing and getting "free" healthcare.

"Shitty" jobs...as explained by whom? A person with a degree in "Music Appreciation"?
There are no shitty jobs when the bills are due, and you're hungry. These are things people fail to realize when someone else is paying the way. There are no shitty jobs, just shitty people...the ones that would rather sit on the couch, than make a future for themselves.

It’s like talking to my dog with the 5 or 6 resident socialists here. They don’t understand a fucking thing.

How do you tie your shoes in the morning?

Let’s pay people not to work and then pay them to go back to work, all with MY tax dollars!

This may be the summer of velcro.

I'm not a fan of paying them to go back to work either. The additional unemployment benefits need to stop. Let's let the labor market play itself out. What you will see is employers and labor will need to meet in the middle or learn to do without. Doing without means more people on assistance and businesses closing. That's why there needs to be forced compromise in the form ratcheting back benefits.

😂 😂 😂 tell this to Bobby V.........
Truth is, you constantly lobby for Gov provided Healthcare.....in reality, you simply want to move it from the private sector to the gov sector. You, are fooling no one.

I think the point is upward mobility? For better pay, benefits.

Reminds me of why Ruhm Tile and Marble, at one time the largest Union Tile Contractor in Escondido, finally bit the dust.

My last straw was them eliminating their Health plan entirely. While Wifey was Preggo. Not cool. I tried to negotiate an alternative, but Big AL wasn't interested. I made sure at my New job,, She wouldn't be denied coverage for a pre existing condition, and jumped off the sinking ship. Never looked back.

My C54 was on the books longer than any Union Shop I ever worked.
Building So Cal was fun.
The World has changed. Good luck.

You do know, if the government provides less assistance, the people will take jobs, right? The "meet in the middle" should be just that, the middle. The middle is not where the offset lands with goverent money in the mix.

Want to eat, work.
Want nicer stuff, work harder.

It's crap to say "this isn't enough, but the government will give me more"

Fuckers have no pride, and surely no work ethic!

I would say generally yes, but not in all cases. A hand up is often just what a person needs. They've got to want it though, that seems to be the difference.

A hand up is needed by some, but it also seems quite rare. A boot in the ass seems more useful at times.

There is also a lot of fraud with assistance programs. I remember seeing a company truck parked at the projects in "Dog Town". Union member, at the time scale was 36.50hr...good chance he and his "wife" weren't married, at least not in the states.
Maybe I'd have more faith in the system if I hadn't seen things like that.

Do you think if your company hired someone new without experience they should make the same money you do?

You don't think we have enough "programs" already in place that help people who need it?

Most of you guys and ladies @ RDP will get thru all this Democrat bullshit just fine. “Type A” people always will find a way to win. Sooner the better you understand and accept the US Government since 11/3/20 became totally irrelevant to real business and success of our economy. Damn shame citizens of our country have accepted the results of a crooked and rigged 11/3/20 election plus the warfare of the Chinese Pandemic.

I'd rather try and reason with Frogman's dog than mushbrain Rodn, I or anyone else would get farther. Remember this is the guy that wants Grandma's prop 13 thrown out and tries to find a way to NOT pay his boat ownership taxes!! Think about that one for awhile!!!!

Oh wait, there's more. He's the one that DRIVES his car to work and also takes boating trips to the river but wants to BAN combustion engines!!! Figure that one out!1 The hypocrisy stinks like shit with these two!!
