Off week, no one there but a couple ghost camps

I’ve been known to throw a bike in the truck and make a day trip.
Is about 2:45hr drive and I can do it on one tank.

If you are solo... it is not too hard to find a spot of gecko... it is usually only difficult if you roll in with a group... or late Friday night.

I’m not 100% in or out on this deal yet.
The more I look at the 250 the more my mind is telling me to dust off the 660R.
Which will need carbs pulled and gas changed out, air filter, oil and filter minimum.
Quite the conundrum.
I do have enough C-12 left to make another batch for the 250, the counter shaft seal leaks but I have oil
Biggest worry is sprockets, they are laying over a bit, and radiator has a weep down by the lower hose bib.
I’ve already made up my mind the paddles on it suck and need a set of taller haulers.
There’s probably a comma in the price of parts alone by the time I’m done

Still not sure. Damn kids are in playoffs now so their schedule just got extended. I will know more after this coming Friday/Saturday. If they go we will camp in the washes. If I go solo I am open for other spots.

Wish I was going but broke ring pinion on my 091 and it’s getting fixed now. Gonna skip t day got first time in 25 years too. After haloween I don’t think I can take any more of the lack of common sense and respect of the wAnna be newbies out there anymore. Usually did a week there too the last 15 years.
