It would be argued that you had the intent to do harm expecting it to be stolen. You would be fucked and the theif would get restitution.I like it because at least it's "something".
I don't, because it's not enough!
I have often wondered and maybe someone would know:
What are the legal ramifications of making a box that disperses something like, bleach, paint, dog piss n shit or pepper spray of some sort?
If a package was left on a porch in an unmarked box.
With no personal information on it and no item description.
What liability do you have if it stolen from your property?
If anyone knows, please advise.
I ponder such things.
So, perhaps the "accidental" mixing and ignition of volatile chemicals that were removed them from your property without permission???It would be argued that you had the intent to do harm expecting it to be stolen. You would be fucked and the theif would get restitution.
