Very nice, some good heavy hitters in there, Blanton's, Bookers (my favorite), whistlepig, and a little something else second from right. Weller is good stuff too. I am in the middle of building out my next wall to organize my stuff, its only the Jack wall that is done at this point. I am on a bit of the Pinhook kick right now, enjoying their high proof rye in particular.
An open bottle will allow oxidation, when in turn will slowly degrade the spirit. In fact , the moment a spirit is bottled, it begins to very slowly degrade. Bourbons and Whiskey are more susceptible due to all the natural occurring flavors gained with the barreling. This is Opposite of a good wine.I'm sure, crazy what a $40 dollar retail bottle can fetch.... Haven been to lucky to find it for that, even though when I had it, it wasn't all that good. Possibly due to the fact it had been open for a long time.
