If i remember correctly Buffalo Trace produces the Pappy line as well some of the other well known single barrels.

Buffalo Trace just bottles Pappy. It is still produced at the Van Winkle family owned distillery.

X2 on Buffalo Trace....however it packs one hell of a "cheap bottle" hangover!

Did not hear Knob Creek mentioned in the small batch group but a great ride.

Very nice, some good heavy hitters in there, Blanton's, Bookers (my favorite), whistlepig, and a little something else second from right. Weller is good stuff too. I am in the middle of building out my next wall to organize my stuff, its only the Jack wall that is done at this point. I am on a bit of the Pinhook kick right now, enjoying their high proof rye in particular.

Was in AZ this week. So glad I stopped at TW.

Cream of Kentucky was worth it, soo good. Can’t get it in CA without a mark up so never bought it. But 7 bottles in AZ and on the shelf, Crazy. When I found it I had to send this pick to a buddy.

I have really been enjoying a bottle of Knob Creek lately as well as a Balconez. Cheap and smooth.

Yes, a glass at a time...neat!

I'm sure, crazy what a $40 dollar retail bottle can fetch.... Haven been to lucky to find it for that, even though when I had it, it wasn't all that good. Possibly due to the fact it had been open for a long time.

An open bottle will allow oxidation, when in turn will slowly degrade the spirit. In fact , the moment a spirit is bottled, it begins to very slowly degrade. Bourbons and Whiskey are more susceptible due to all the natural occurring flavors gained with the barreling. This is Opposite of a good wine.
