I paid 60.00 shipped for my box anchor, the guy was fishing from shore at Folsom and found it in what should have been 50+ feet of water.

I have accumulated 4 box anchors from buying and selling boats and skis. Still would not sell for 50$ for 1.

I can wrap my head around that idea but as a set(anchor/spike) it's just more sketchy to me. Most boaters would be selling one or the other.
Not saying it wasn't a legit ad, I just tend to raise one eyebrow at stuff like that.

When I talked to the guy he said he knew he could easily get another 20-30 for it but he wasn't greedy.
