Been looking for a 2wd 2dr with a tailgate for a while. Really wanted red but got a good enough deal I’ll paint this one someday. Pulled the mouldings, emblems and roof rack off so far.
Next is a 5/7 drop and a new stereo ( I forgot how much stock stereos sucked back then)
Then paint and wheels.

Anyone else have one?

Man that looks clean! Not a nick or scratch on the front end! Somebody "Came up" on a good deal! I've got an 85 K5 on the back burner right now. It will be awhile. LMFAO!

Ya it’s pretty clean. It could use a good buff but it should polish up real good till I can get it repainted.

Nice find. Looks super clean! What rims you thinking?

Mine - I’m going to start working on it very soon. First thing I gotta repair some cancer in the upper windshield / roof line. Then cutting the roof for a rag top, then paint then maybe bag / new rims.

Nice truck! I felt the same way about the green when I bought mine. Didn't look too bad after it was done though... Sold it a couple years ago, but I want another one

Lexani makes some that are inspired by and look just like the Iroc wheels in a staggered 22” that would be uber bad ass with that green

Please don’t do anything that look like irocs...lol[emoji13][emoji12]
Omg why not that big and with a stagger would be so bitchin.
I’d like to find a white one do LS swap with a single turbo with a nice 305 on the rear and make as quiet as possible. Just a fun cruiser sleeper

Finding custom bumpers has been a lot harder than I thought it would be. Looking for a smoothie front and rear that are paintable. Like this....

Really not a fan of any lowered SUV. I think they look like a short fat woman. But I do love me some 4wd 2 door Tahoe/Yukons and really miss my '93 Yukon GT.

AR will build the TT II to whatever specs you request within reason (Rim size, width, backspacing, etc.) You just have to make sure the wheel you like is available in the size you like. I spoke with them last week about my upcoming project and received all the information I needed from American Racing regarding the wheel I'm interested in.

For bumpers look online for replacement W/T bumpers they were a raw silver or black depending upon the year and vehicle color. But if your going sport truckin idk i always loved the chrome front with the two little billets and the year drop fog lights then a roll pan rear. Yea circa 1996 but yeeeeeaaaa

I think the Torq Thrust II looks good on these too but they are just sooooooo over used. Curious how everyone else lowered theirs.....I have droipped spindles in the front with 3.5" lowered springs in the rear. I need to find some stock leafs then source a notch and flip kit. In the front I'm between 3" coils or 3" DJM dropped control Arms.

With the drop spindles and coils in the front I’m pretty sure you have slightly modify your stock lower control arms. With the quality of your previous builds I would imagine you will build this one bad ass as well

Both 2 doors I’ve owned have been lowered with a set of belltech spindles and springs in the front and a flip kit with c notch in the rear. It will ride perfect! [emoji108]

How hard is it to do basically a two link with panhard using the front leaf perches and small set of bags on these? Done it on a few Ranger’s and Hardbody’s way back and always worked super well and simple, just can’t have a lot of height change with the panhard as it’ll push and pull diff from center

I've always loved those, always wanted one, maybe one day. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking. I'm thinking of selling my Harley, could be an option.

Update, shaved the tailgate, antenna, roof rack, third brake light, license plate lights and tucked the bumpers in tighter.

Ordered some wheels too

Nice front bumper. It reminds me of the bumper I made back in 05 for my 98 Silverado. Now you have to work on the back bumper.
