Cool video!!! Bob Hoover retired a couple of years ago. I did see him at the Reno Air Races and at an airshow here in Victoria BC, both times in the 80's.

My Dad was an air traffic controller in the late 76 early 77. He got to fly with Bob Hoover during an airshow at his base. I was a crew member on an AC-130 gunship that went there for static display. It was pretty cool deal to hear him on the radio during our arrival and departure!
