New floors for the 255. It took a few weekends to accomplish with help from Master Craftsman Tony Ayala aka Ductape1000 Thanks again Tony. I started by removing the front seating area and got halfway of removing the first seat and said F This and called Nordic/Hallett to get a quote, and after hearing 5K to do it and we might get to it this year I said F That, I’ll do it 😂 Honestly it was easier than I had anticipated. Once you get the front seat tub out the rest is easy. After laying down the first sheet, I instantly said “worth the work ” The floors turned out so beautiful that I don’t want to put in new snap in carpet. Before installing the sheets of teak I pre-oiled them with 4 heavy coats of teak oil. The boat is going to speed of sounds for some stereo upgrades this week since the interior is out and everything is accessible. I’ll give the teak one more coat of oil before installing the interior.

Looks fantastic, did you order the teak/Holly sole online or were you able to find it at a local supplier? I'm sure there are other members that may consider doing this now and may be interested 👍

Looks great Paul, glad you got the help. Nordic/Hallet is nuts, they quoted me the same 2-3 yrs ago. Jerry at Barron was half that but both did not include the subfloor if that had issues.

I say upgrades. They are actually changing out the whole system eventually when the speakers aren’t on back order. To start, he’s upgrading the amps, changing the head unit and the remotes. We’re adding blue ambient lighting front and rear, as well as changing out and remounting the perko switch to a more accessible location. Last but not least he is pre-wiring all the speakers and amps for the glowing lights, again when they come off of back order. I figured I might as well upgrade it now while it’s all apart.

Thanks. It was Tony’s skill behind the saws that made it look good.

BTW we’re not telling her the cost of this. 😂

Never - one of the top 10 rules - never tell a wife what it costs to update the toys.

I knew my wife wanted the stereo when I told her it would cost 10k and she said yes. Entire new system and wiring and it was under my forecast :)

She wants the upgrade, she just don’t want to pay for it or know how much it’s costing. Ignorance is bliss lol 😂
