Crazy times we are living through- We will be doing our own Halloween out in the middle of the desert like we always do. Just crazy to think that Halloween is "canceled" this year. It will be interesting to see what other BS they will try and pull for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. I am sure this PLANDEMIC will be a think of the past by November 4th.

LA Halloween restrictions:

• No door-to-door trick-or-treating. Officials say "it can be very difficult to maintain proper social distancing on porches and at front doors."
• No "trunk or treating" either. Children will similarly not be allowed to collect treats going car-to-car as an alternative to door-to-door.
• No parties. The county says gatherings with non-household members are not allowed, not even outdoors.
• No carnivals, festivals, live entertainment or haunted houses.

It was not immediately clear what penalties might be imposed for violations of the Halloween restrictions.

So what is allowed?

• Online parties and contests for costumes or pumpkin carving, for example.
• Car parades. For example, with people dressing in costume or decorating their vehicles and driving by socially distanced judges
• Halloween movie nights at drive-in theaters. Those venues already have to comply with protocols for social distancing, sanitation and the wearing of face masks.

But to your question, yes, AZ is a whole different world compared to CA.
Even with its admittedly daily regression to liberalism, AZ is still better by almost every metric.
I moved from CA one year ago after 20 years in CA.

Imo, Trump is listening too much to his advisors in consideration of the election.
If he “stops the Buffoonery” today it will paint him as a tyrant 55 days before the election. As much as I would LOVE to see him send in the troops and take every fucking traitorous mayor and governor and DA into custody on multiple federal charges immediately, his hands are tied.
He is letting the state and local traitors implode their own cities. It’s a shrewd move, but really the best way to handle until November.

Well I’m still decorating the front yard for Halloween. I figured a while ago I wasn’t going to be able to throw an Halloween party. And, started trying to figure out how to “safely” hand candy out for the kiddos. So far my idea is to prefill small ziplock bags of candy and hand it out that way with gloves. Or toss it to the kids. Haha. I’m not sure how I’m going to do it as I’m immune compromised, but I’m going to figure out some way to give out candy. I’ll probably do something special for the front yard show this year.

I was going to do this kind of as a joke but maybe it will work for you.
I was going to set out tv trays properly spaced of course with candy per kid on each one.
I was also going going to tape social distancing stickers on the sidewalk with a headsmack sticker
between each one for those who actually stand on the spot.
