Lance Stump built the strut, 9* moved to 24" forward of the Transom. Still have room for a 13" prop. Going with a seastar single ram hydraulic setup. Keeping it simple yet effective.

I would’ve thought power on that big Campbell

Manual is still has a very light steering sensation, even in the event of loss of power. It'd be great to go full overkill but with the Campbell that may it 65mph it's just not worth the cost times 3. I'll spend that elsewhere.

Don’t know if u have ur ram picked out yet I found this 1 on eBay that has mount tabs cast into it U could bolt it to a bracket which would be a lot stronger then the other way I’ve seen it done with a pinch clamp???

Food for thought???

Found issues with all the newer O/B rams not good???
The piston on the rams are like a nylon/plastic they split and leak and no replacement parts are available??
Food for thought!!!

More work getting done, it was a total after thought to do this since the gel work was done but it’s Taken this long we might as well do it right. Joey and Vincente at D’Cucci boats are kicking ass on getting all the new driveline placed.

More progress on Happy Hour, it sure is nice when someone really does the work they say they will in the time they estimate. D’Cucci boats nailed it!
Set a new strut, filled all the excess holes, drilled new shaft hole, reset v-drive, install drop thru strut and rudder support.

The original 42 year old trailer got some love too. Wanted to keep it as original as we could but with a modern braking system and lights. So far we are keeping the original wheels I took some Diet Coke and aluminum foil to clean the rust up

Looks Great, All your hard work is paying off, I have one advice about your Trim tabs, Don't forget to put them up before you pull the boat out of the water, or the plate will get bent from the end of the bunks. I for got once and now one tab plate has a mark. keep the updates coming.

We moved the boat back about 2” so the plates are just off the bunks. I have 2 new tabs that are 9x18 that I’d get rid of

It’s closer but had to stop since I was off work almost 6 months with this Covid crap. I’m down to getting a couple things buttoned up, need upholstery and wiring.

Not a whole bunch new, got most of the wiring done at the engine and at the dash I just need to connect the dots. Waiting on our interior appt and will be getting the gel coat redone in the bilge soon. Broke my collarbone in March racing desert so that’s been a big hiccup having to get it repaired twice. Once I lift more than 10lbs again progress will continue. Brought it out for a much need bath
