Lance Stump built the strut, 9* moved to 24" forward of the Transom. Still have room for a 13" prop. Going with a seastar single ram hydraulic setup. Keeping it simple yet effective.Who did ur strut and what did u change it to??
Any thing on ur hyd steering?? I’m going for it on my boat getting pieces together now??? Will see !!!
ManualLance jus did mine got it today 7* at 23”
I’m going with the big sea star ram char-Lynn helm and cooler still have to get the pump
U going power or manual??
I would’ve thought power on that big Campbell
I wouldn't buy a used up Steering system but ThanksView attachment 766274
Don’t know if u have ur ram picked out yet I found this 1 on eBay that has mount tabs cast into it U could bolt it to a bracket which would be a lot stronger then the other way I’ve seen it done with a pinch clamp???
Food for thought???
Nice , What is the green? is it a Gelcoat, Paint or what? I wanted to put a color in the center also, but didn't know what to use, And I was on a budget. Looking good.
Looks Great, All your hard work is paying off, I have one advice about your Trim tabs, Don't forget to put them up before you pull the boat out of the water, or the plate will get bent from the end of the bunks. I for got once and now one tab plate has a mark. keep the updates coming.More progress on Happy Hour, it sure is nice when someone really does the work they say they will in the time they estimate. D’Cucci boats nailed it!
Set a new strut, filled all the excess holes, drilled new shaft hole, reset v-drive, install drop thru strut and rudder support. View attachment 824038 View attachment 824039 View attachment 824041 View attachment 824044 View attachment 824045 View attachment 824039 View attachment 824041
We moved the boat back about 2” so the plates are just off the bunks. I have 2 new tabs that are 9x18 that I’d get rid ofLooks Great, All your hard work is paying off, I have one advice about your Trim tabs, Don't forget to put them up before you pull the boat out of the water, or the plate will get bent from the end of the bunks.
