We boated all weekend and Monday. Never put ourselves closer that 200ft from anyone. Went from house to gas station to ramp and back.

We did have a pontoon full of old timers pull right next to us in steam boat. Kept 20+ ft from them though. And I don’t beach there so boat was 5-10ft from shoreline.

Had speed alley all to ourselves since people are scared of the river right now.

Mouth of the river same thing.

Watched a few spectacular groundings from the shallow water.

I will say the channel was going off and beer bongs were running at steam boat lol. Closing the lakes will accomplish nothing. The people who don’t care will invite all their friends to their pool and do the same thing.
