While I was getting the boat ready today, I noticed a leak coming from a braided stainless line on a trim ram.
I stopped by my regular mechanic who confirmed the problem. He was swamped and unable to fix it but he sent me to another shop where I was able to buy the parts. I was going to give it a go myself when I remembered a recent post about Shane at Havasu Marine Specialties.
I stopped by HMS at about noon and talked with Shane. He took a look and told that he would get started on it after lunch. He was working on a boat but was willing to get me in so I could get on the water.
Two hours later the boat was finished. The cost was fair and included an RDP discount.
Very happy with my experience at HSM and Shane is really nice guy.
