Went last year on the RDP Spring off-road run without issues.
Biggest item was crossing the 40. We crossed at the 95, followed wash to under tracks and kept going. We did the east of 95 route. West of the 95 you have a couple parts to watch out for
I am unsure as that’s the first I’ve ever heard about that, but i know that a bunch of the wash nearer to Topock is closed and they hide out there writing tickets.
I also know that blm likes to take advantage of the non dot tires there near the bar. BLM has been a serious pita the past year out that way.
My last one was my dust light was still on while on the road, that was after they spent 35 minutes arguing about mud flaps but that law specifically states “truck” in it. They tried anything and everything they have been real pricks.
So I looked into it with a buddy who is a land surveyor for the state. Trust Land is different from BLM land even though BLM helps manage Trust land.
OHV sticker is for public land.
Trust Land permit is for Trust Land.
BLM well you better only be on marked approved roads/trails or you can/will get a ticket. Same idea as the Forrest Service has put in place.
